I recommended that you visit this place because it is in the heart of the Trentino' alpes. You can do winter sports, taste the typical trentino food and enjoy your time seeing the beautiful sunset with the "Rose Mountains".

Ok, here is the deal, you take your car or the bus to reach the top, what a shame or, and I like this idea better, park your car before the toll, wear your best shoes and....go !!!!

Even at the beginning, your eyes slide along the colorful ridges and slopes of the valley, magnetized towards a bright emerald lake in the distance. Throughout every turn, hikers were gifted a new view of the Dolomiti giants confidently looming at every angle. The low-hanging...More

The Tre Cime di Laverado are one of the most iconic and compelling views in Italy, if not all of Europe, a must see location, and a significant player in the history of modern alpinism.

It costs 25 Euro per car to gain entry to Tre Cimie. For us, with all of the woderous places to view near Ortesei, it was not worth the 25 Euro and 90 minute drive to see Tre Cime. we have scratched it off our...More

Went for a great walk. The views were fantastic. Very grateful for the refuges selling drinks as it was a very hot day in June. Wish we had arrived earlier and spent more time there.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Hello, We are planning to visit dolomites duing 17-21 October this year. We know that it is off-season and we will be there with a yound child and elderly which means no real trekking possible. My question is, which area give the best view of Tre Cime without too much afford for them. We'll go there by car. And a short and easy hike shouldn't be a problem if required. If you could advice where we should park and how far we have to walk along the trail to see good enough scene of Tre Cime, it would be very much appreciated. As we will base in Cortina and Ortisei, any advice about the area is also welcomed. Thank you.

My wife and I will be going to the Dolomites late May 2016. We are looking for names of local guides who know the area. We will have 3 full days for hiking one being the Trie Cima Loop. Does anyone have some good day hikes or suggestions? We are open to self guide or guided.

I am trying to make a reservation at rifugio lavaredo near tre cime. Can someone please help me? The link on their home page does not seem to work.. and although I have sent two emails to rifugiolavaredo (at hotmail it), I have not received a reply ... so I am not sure they have received my request. I have searched "how to make reservations at italian rifugi" but cannot seem to find the answer. Any help would be truly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
