Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Turunc market is on a Monday, great market for fresh produce.
Also has your normal stalls of handbags, shoes, leather products,t shirts etc, always a deal do be done!
You can also get a coffee or cold drink, near the entrance.
Approx. a 7/8 minute walk from the harbour.
Definitely worth a visit.

If you've been anywhere that is a resort town in Turkey, you know that there is at least one market full of souvenir shops, places to eat, and other stores selling imitation bags and clothing. There was one pharmacy that I was able to see, and a couple of other stores for things like food and other basics, definitely on the pricier side. Supplies appear to have dwindles, especially for things like sunscreen - presumably because the "season" was over. All in all, it's a nice walk up and down the street but not a must-see.

We always like to visit the Turunc market which is on a Monday, we get taxi boat from Icmeler 15 lira each way per person, the Market is small and has lots of local produce & spices, usual clothing items and handbags, haggling is part of the fun, we have lunch and beer in the town and get taxi boat back to Icmeler, good way to pass a day, There is bus but i couldn't do the hill climbs - far to scarry!

A street full of shops with imitated products. There are clothes, shoes, swimwear, bags and souvenirs. Cafes and bistros are also there. Always try to bargain. Price are not that cheap as you can find the same things at the same price in marmaris
