Very attentive crew, very nice boat and great underwater encounters, fantastic day, however, not recommended for people with reduced mobility to get on and off the boat, it's a bit sporty. But it is worth the detour, first time in my life that I have swum with dolphins, the small coral reef of the marine park has many species of fish perfect for the 2 x 1 hour snorkeling. There is also the possibility of scuba diving with a Padi instructor for a small additional fee. After this beautiful morning we had our meal on Wasini Island, very good, very local. short visit to the village and its school then return to Diani with a stop in the slave cave

The host was very organised and gave us all the information about the trip in advance.
The tour van is very nice and comfortable: the driver was very punctual picking us up.
I can't rave enough about the boat crew. They made us feel at home, had fruit and other snacks on hand for us and really helped us enjoy the whole experience.
We saw lots of dolphins, enjoyed snorkelling and all had the fabulous sea food lunch.
Ours was the only party on the boat and it made the whole experience that much better.
The crew takes pictutes as well both on the boat as well as in the water and its all part of the package.

We went today on a diving trip to Wasini Island with Diani Dhow Safari. The provider was recommended to us by our hotel. Prices and services were well described, so we decided to go with them, even if there might have been cheaper offers.
The service offered met our expectations and we have not regretted taking the trip. We were absolutely thrilled by the underwater world, met dolphins both above and under water and the dive guides tried to show us the good spots. The organization of our trip was perfect and nothing to complain about.
It was not a cheap trip that we would do again at any time because the impressions were unique.

We decided to go snorkeling at the coral in Diani beach and called Steffen instead of going to the local beach boys to ensure safety due the Covid pandemic. He tried his best to arrange a boat for us saying all his were booked and he is trying to get us a good boat so we should not go to the locals for safety. only to realise that he had outsourced the boat from a local and asked him to charge us double for his commission. The snorkeling boat had dropped off a load of passengers to the coral Island and had come to pick us up and planned to drop us to the coral Island hoping we would spend time there whilst they would ferry the previous passenger back to the main Island.
I put my foot down and refused to get out on to the crowded island and refused them to carry more passengers on the same boat as I had asked Steffen for an exclusive boat for me and family for snorkeling and not being dropped off to another island. The snorkeling equipment was being shared by all from one boat to another without proper sanitation. Thankfully we had our own.
Steffen should have been honest instead of just being Interested in making an extra 💰

I had recently booked a pvt tour for my family through Diani Dhow supposedly owned by a German Guy Steffen, don't go by his sweet talks and brochure as he charges a lot under the impression of providing breakfast fruits soda on board and underwater pics during snorkeling. The fact is he has untrained staff who do not know how to take pics nor take the clients for Good snorkeling and after paying 350USD there are no pics and Steffen doesn't respond bcos he has got his money after all.
Wouldn't recommend Diani Dhow instead go for others like Marcopoli or Pili Pipa.

We are a bit confused by this review since you comment via WhatsApp after the trip was: "Thank you too, we had a wonderful time, please share the photos and videos taken under water" from your phone via Whatsappp.
The same day on 17th we have send you a dropbox link with the photos, which gor 2 blue ticks - so obviously you have received them. The photos even showing that you got breakfast and sodas like promised. For any new consumers feel free to contact us - we can send you screenshots with evidence.
I dont hope you have any business relation with the one of the 2 companies mentioned cause than I believe its against the rules of tripadvisor.
Sorry again and if by any bad luck your lost your dropbox link feel free to contact us - we will send you the same again.

Great experiance, well organised. Although it was a somewhat windy experiance we did see the dolphins and we had 2 really great snorkel trips over the reef. Seen a lot of fishes, octopus, turtles and marine life. Also the tour over Wasini Island, the coral garden, mangrove forrest and village were really nice to do.
Closing the day with a short trip through the slave caves was also a good and nice experiance.
Although DianiDhow is a little more expensive than things you can book via beach boys near the hotel, this will give you a good experiance which is worth the money.

Dolphins have always fascinated me and thank you Diani dhow for fulfilling my dream to see them, it was remarkable. it was great to observe the sincere joy and passion the crew had on their search for the dolphins 🐬.it was a pleasure to see them at work, to hear a lot of interesting information about these beautiful creatures afterwards we went snorkelling at a beautiful spot. Very nice experience!!! Seeing the dolphins in the wild, and being able to ride along them is an unforgetable experience. Very profesional people starting with the owner and continuing with the guide and the guys from the ship. I recomand Diani Dhow Safari!!!

The crew was on point and we started the day with tea and donuts and the first safety review! When it was time to get in the water they provided another safety review and discussed if anyone needed a life vest. In the water We came across a sea turtle and other large fish. The coral is in great shape compared to many other places we have been. We saw dolphins but they were eating so we were not allowed to swim with them but we followed them for a while and took many pictures and videos. We seriously thought about going back out the next day with them because there were less clouds. Would return and tour with Diani Dhow again.

This has to be one of the best experiences I've had at the Coast. It was really magical and quite quite amazing.
The car was at the gat at exactly 6.10 as agreed by Steffan (I was a little late coz my hotel needed to sort me on sth). Then we went to pick the rest of the guests. The driver, Kelvin, was quite cool and easy to get along with. The car was spacious and had a cooler with the high temperatures of the day. We drove to Wasini and they sorted everything and we got on the boat.
The boat team was a team of 4 guys and they were all lovely. Chatty here and there and made all of us feel at home. There was a lady who was seasick and they took perfect care of her. We had a delicious breakfast and then like after 50 mins we saw many dolphins and the team was directing us to them.
Then the snorkeling--I think I was in the water for almost 2 hours and they kept asking is if we need more time. If you don't know how to swim, they got life jackets and rings for you to hold on. And the view of the ocean is beautiful! I had so much fun.
And then lunch-you really aren't ready for the food coz its the best meal you'll have in Diani. There is starter which is quite a large amount that you'll confuse with the main meal. Then the main meal, and there are varieties. And that chef is quite superb. I've visited the coast a couple of times and that meal is unparalleled.
Then we went to visit the corals in the village and headed for Shimoni caves which hold quite a history for us. Then we were driven back to each of our destinations.
I still can't get over this experience. Superb!!
