We stay at the holiday inn of the beach which is very clean, 4 shacks, not commercialised and you are not hounded to buy anything. You can swun in the sea. From this location you can walk to the main town along the beach quite easily and takes around 30 mins. You will pass more shacks and life guards, but... More

We visited Cavelossim for a weekend getaway from Pune. The beach is calm, serene and is a must visit for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful time. Time and commercialization has still not caught up with this place. There are a no. of shacks on the beach, but i would suggest Q-Ba shack for their service. If you are... More

The Beach stretches for miles and is relatively clean. There are plenty of sun beds and if they all look to be full ask the waiters. They rely on you for their trade so welcome you to their area of Beach. Life Garda are stationed along the beach so bathing is mostly safe. Nice long walks and a cold drink... More

The beach is not much crowded as n south goa. Shacks are nice and beach s clean. Not much high tide so apt for a nyc dip n d water. Comfortable, quiet and cozy surrounding with limited ppl around.

Lovely beach with very helpful and friendly people running beach side restaurant. We dined at the bay watch beach shack and had a lovely fish supper and very good service. The entertainment is very interesting on the beach with all the local ladies selling their beads and manicures, massage and more. Then all the sellers with their bright shirts and... More

This is the Best Beach in the Salcette region - much better than both Mobor and Varca, The sunset is really beautiful and good beach for a nice and relaxing swim - the water is also very clean. The Beach has lots of nice shacks (Cafe Beach Hut and Silver Sands to name a couple of good ones). You can... More

Beautiful white sands, where the river Sal meets the sea (Estuary) and the hills in the back drop and the fishing boats making their pass in the background and pleasure boats on Dolphin viewing trips make it an attractive place for people of all ages. safe for swimming and beach activities and manned by lifeguards 24X7

Very long beach patrolled by Lifeguards. Sea is clean and warm. Sometimes quite rough depending on wind strength and direction. Beach is regularly raked and cleaned. Beach hawkers present but not too persistent. Get to know them and they'll tell you all about themselves. Some have become our friends over the years. They sell trinkets in order to eat and... More

Lovely stretch of clean beach with access most days into the sea (flag system) Lifeguards on duty. Several beach sellers but a firm 'no' usually means they walk away. Lots of beach shacks, selling good food and drinks reasonably priced. Find your favourite shack and book a beach party.
