- 15Dee78Doncaster, United Kingdom125 contributionsFab full day. Worth the priceGreat marine park. There’s a full day of stuff to do here. We saw the dolphin, seal and pirate shows all were well put together. The pirates show especially was fantastic. There was a focus on conservation which was interesting. Several fairground rides and the water parks which consisted of 2 splash pools (one was closed as low season) a wave pool and several slides. There’s also an aquarium, a turtle pond, a butterfly house and a reptiles house. And a 4d cinema. We arrived at 1045 and left at 530, we didn’t get time for the butterfly or reptile house and we chose not to do the bird shows but saw/did everything else and it was all very good. The park is exceptionally clean , well maintained and lots of staff around for support. We ate at the food kiosk where there was burgers/pizza/sandwiches. The food was good and reasonably priced. My one quibble was that the splash parks had lots of sun loungers but it was a minimum of 10 euros to rent them which seemed expensive give the entrance fee. There was also not regular chairs. It was either sit in the floor or stand.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 April 2023
- JadeKovacsBristol, United Kingdom215 contributionsGreat Value For Money Day Out!Zoomarine Algarve represents great value for money! We did and saw everything in less than the time the park was open which was great as I worrying we'd miss out on some things!! The Dolphin show was the highlight for us, which we did upon entering the park at 11am. Only bad points were the foods not great so don't expect too much on that front, and the dolphin show was ok but every other show we saw- the English translation is muffled through the microphones so you can't really understand what they're saying which was a bit annoying. All in all, a great day out and worth the trip/money!Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 April 2023
- Trek45409956204Bathgate, United Kingdom2 contributionsGreat day outFantastic time here. We spent 2 days here over our 6 days holiday and i have to say im so glad we did. Zoo is spotlessly clean and full of information. Staff all very friendly and happy. Food prices were worth what we paid for. Burgers were lovely, Kids meals worth the money. The shows that or on are all great.Visited April 2023Written 4 April 2023

We all loved our visit, so much so that we bought tickets while we was on park for a return visit the next day. The dolphin show is magical, so is the message about looking after our planet. The parrot show was also stunning. The big pool is amazing, along with the beach. The kids loved the rides and pirates. Can not recommend this place highly enoughVisited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 5 April 2023

- 592victoriaLytham St Anne's, United Kingdom5 contributionsGreat day outTook my 8 year old daughter while my husband and son played golf and had a really great day. The shows were amazing, all the facilities were clean and easy to find. We went on all the rides and my daughter swam in the big pool. It was too cold for me to attempt the water slides but they looked good. I’m not sure if my 13 year old would have been a bit bored and doubt he’d have wanted to spend an entire day here, but for younger kids it was perfect. The food was well priced and decent. It was the start of the season so wasn’t overly busy so didn’t have to queue for anything.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 10 April 2023
- Vicky KCanterbury, United Kingdom69 contributionsGreat DayGreat day out. We were here from when it opened to when it closed. We were able to do a lot of the rides and pools and water rides. Shows were great and staff were lovely. Food was a bit hit and miss but I think technically we were here at off season or just at the start of the season so not everything was open. The dolphin experience was extra which we didn’t pay for as we had already paid quite a bit to get in. We enjoyed our day here a lot as did the kids (ages 13, 5 and 7 months) Would definitely recommend and come again.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 11 April 2023
- GirlsRule fNorwich, United Kingdom6 contributionsGood day out with lots of waitingPark was good and shows were fantastic. Not enough staff as had to queue for over an hour to get food only 1 person serving as well as the rides had to wait for over an hour per ride goodness knows what’s it’s like in peak season. Only half the rides open. Lovely park thou if you don’t mind waitingVisited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 11 April 2023
- Aysia StephensBristol, United Kingdom70 contributionsThe BEST by far!Absolutely amazing place! So glad I took my children to this venue 😊 The buzz, the rides (that are included in entry price) so me need to pay for the rides once in the park. Everything about this place is great. The dolphin emotions is reasonably priced and a great experience if you can afford to do it. The Dolphin show and bird shows were great. I love how we are reminded to care for our planet prior to the shows. 🌎 🐬 🦅 The on site beach is just such a great feature. Lots of toilets dotted around and food stations. We spent the whole day here from 10:30 until 5:30. My children didn’t want to leave 🤣 Entry fees are reasonable approx £25 for adults and £18 for children and free to those under 1 metre. (Luckily for me my 4 year old is under 1 metre) Definitely worth a visit if you are in proximity.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 11 April 2023
- Ian RSheffield, United Kingdom1 contributionOutstanding. Pitched perfectlyOutstanding. Pitched perfectly (2&5yo parents and grandparents). All rides are free once in. Great wildlife shows, just enough, not too much. Rides amazing for these ages and older. They have got it right, even the ice cream stalls don’t open until after lunch. super value although food and drinks/ice cream pricey once in but that’s to be expected. Well worth it and highly recommended.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 13 April 2023

Zoomarine was a very disappointing experience for me and my family today. The park was deserted.
We arrived and 2/3 of the park was closed. There was a total of 5 very tame water rides available and 2 of these were open. The rides were very tame even for kids over 7 years old.
We went to the Locker room which cost a total of €10 per locker as you have to pay a deposit and a rental fee. This seems a lot as you only get half back when you return the keys.
2/3 of the restaurants were closed including ice cream huts which left a very very limited option for food. Then the food we did have was stone cold. There was lots of staff stood around looking bored.
There were two pools one of which was closed and a beach area wave pool. The Pool water was freezing and the same with the wave pool. The wave pool was only 1m deep so not ideal for teenagers.
Most of the theme rides were closed except two.
There was various shows on however the Dolphins were the best one to watch the others were poorly put together and very boring for children.
The staff were ok but didn’t speak very much or seem interested in the customers.
This is not a place that I would Recommend if you have children over 7 years old. It’s sell sell sell everything is extra money all the time.

A day well spent in Zoomarine. Its a water park and an amusement park combined into one.
Lots of kiosks and restaurants, places to sit and rest.
We took the Dolphin Experience and it was something to remember for years. Must Visit with kids!

Absolutley loved Zoomarine!
There was a group of 11 of us that went a good mix of adults/teens/children and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
The shows are amazing, the pirate show had us crying with laughter, the dolphins and seals got us feeling emotional and have a beautiful message behind them 🥹
The rides are all included and great fun for the kids and adults!
We came on Halloween 31/10/23 and it was Mainly dry but still warm. Everything was still open and just as fun.
You do have to pay for the seating/beds around the pool.
One negative I would say is we took our own food and you cannot sit and eat your own food in a lot of places and it's made very clear. We eventually found a few picnic benches after searching for an hour, (there is an icon on the maps key for picnics but the icon isn't actually placed on the map)🫠. This was right back near the entrance as well!
Overall loved the park and if we even came back to Portugal we would absolutley visit again.

For the price I thought this was Great value for money. Best bits were the wings of the world show. The presenter/ keeper was excellent and he switch seamlessly from Portuguese to English and funny in both languages gave us a great start to a cloudy Halloween.the pirate acrobats we’re very good but no swashbuckling? Have they been told no sword fights. The tropical bird show was hard to follow as the music was louder than the keepers and they struggled with their dialogue.
The seal and sealion show was very educational.
I was pleased that the cost of a baguette was no more than I would have paid in London and the drinks were reasonably priced. I could however see it could get expensive for a large family so maybe a meal deal could be added. We did purchase our photo as a keepsake and we have paid more at other venues so 10euros seemed a good price. We did not try the funfair as we all felt a little over the appreciation age but for 5-16 year olds it would be good. It was too cold for any of the pools but the whole park did seem clean and tidy. Had fun in the butterfly house we had to be careful they did not come out with us they were very attracted to my husbands shorts ( most have been the colour). We were surprised how busy it was for a weekday but because of them doing a Halloween theme the park may have been busier than usual for this time of year.

Enjoyable day had by all, from the moment we got there. Queues went down quickly, and the kids had so much fun. My only fault was you need to pay for sunbeds at the beach part, but we just put our blankets on the grass and set up there for the day. Would recommend this to any young families. It's well worth it. Shows excellent, plenty rides, pools clean and it just seemed a well run park.

This place was amazing!
The water rides were really enjoyable, the lazy river was 10/10!
The kids and wave pool were really fun, the kids really enjoyed the water park section.
We hired a littletikes car to transport one small human, we left our zoomarine algave ball We'd just bought from the gift shop in it while we were changing and someone stole the ball!! So definitely keep all belongings within eye sight!
You have to put a deposit down at the shop for a key for the lockers which is just around the corner.
The dolphin show is amazing and we all loved how nature centered it was, with respectful workers! It was fun to watch yourself displayed on the big TV and have a popcorn seller like USA sports!
The food is okay, cheap and quick!
The butterfly and bird houses were really lovely, except one big bird took my phone hostage while trying to selfie timer a family picture 🤣🙈
I would reccomend buying a 2nd day pass if you're debating it, we could have definitely had one less day by the pool but missed out on an amazing discount not buying while there - €40 for the 2nd day.
The pirate show was soo good! Really interactive if you're down in the front too!!
The theme park bit is soo cute! Loved all the rides, very family friendly!!

Exceeded our expectations! We went with our 1 and 3 year old daughters and had a great time. Well maintained park with so many things to do that we might consider come back one day. In October on a Saturday it was not too crowded at all.

Are there half day tickets or late entry for this waterpark or any other waterparks? Have disabled child who wouldn't want to go for a full day, so it's a lot of money for 4 people.

Hi, I know there are lockers here, but does anybody have a rough idea of the size of these lockers? We would be getting a taxi there (don't want to use the provided transport as we'd be stuck there with a potentially very tired toddler), and would need somewhere to store our car seat. But we would need to know if this is possible prior to arrival.

I’m not sure a car seat would fit but if you have a buggy, could it be stored with that? It’s massively family friendly and tbh you can put your towels down and your car seat in the grass sun bathing areas and trust it would t go missing. If it’s literally a booster seat, that would fit in the locker, I think!
