We went here for lunch having holidayed here a few times years ago. It has expanded quite a bit and as a result the beach is quite crowded.

One of the most and the prettiest beaches in Lagos.you can easily park you car and walk to the beach where you can rent a beach bed for 7euros and just relax and enjoy the cold waters .

My kind of beach, rarely too busy, great sandcastle sand and a few bars and restaurants, nearby... What more do you need? Sandy to the west and nice rocky, snorkelling area to the east, make it attractive to me.

Got to the beach about mid day and there was no chance of getting a lounger. We walked to the shop and bought an umbrella for €15 and lay under that. I think for two beds all day it's €15 anyway so it wasn't much...More

Lagos is nearby and is steeped in history as the origins of the slave trade in Europe. There are boat trips from there too. Sayers is a short drive away and is historically the end of the known world!

Sorry I can't answer your query but might I suggest you speak with the lifeguards or watersport people whilst you are there. Any of the locals will do all they can to accommodate the tourists so please ask around.
