Ampelaki boats in Paleokastritsa was established 17 years ago and ever since we have not stopped improving our services towards our valued customers. We always will go that extra mile to keep every single customer satisfied. Paleokastritsa is located on the northwest coast of Corfu. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful resorts of Corfu.

Yiannis was amazing to deal with - he and his family were extremely friendly and helpful. We hired a boat for the entire day and got to see beautiful, secluded beaches you can only access by boat. The whole process was really easy and it was great value for money. If you’re staying in Palaiokastritsa, I would definitely recommend hiring a boat through them!

We hired a boat during our holiday to Corfu at the beginning of June, and really enjoyed our day. The staff are very friendly and give a thorough introduction to how to drive the boat, where to go and what to do if we have a problem. They take your safety very seriously which is reassuring.
We were given a map to navigate around the area, and it was great fun to explore the coastline and anchor near a lovely beach to have a swim.
Petrol cost is a bit extra (and has to be in cash), but this is calculated based on how much you have used and isn't expensive.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our day on the boat and had a very good experience with Ampelaki boats, would recommend to anyone thinking of hiring a boat.

Great experience from start to finish. We hired a boat on the east coast as well (which was also great) but these guys were as professional, the boat was better/newer and they were cheaper. Great communication, safety conscious and no hidden extras. Really nice genuine family business doing things the right way. Highly recommend.

The staff was super friendly, explained every important detail about the boat as often as you needed to hear it to understand everything. They give you a map of where you can go and point out dangerous zones and the nicest beaches, they even warned us about heavy wind coming and where we could go to still have a relaxing spot to anchor.
The hiring of the boat is also super easy and the prices are fair. You pay half in advance as you book the boat online and the other half later, plus some extra depending on how much gasoline you needed.
I would recommend it to anyone as it is located at the nicest beaches in corfu.

We can really recommend this company as it is a pleasure to work with them from start to finish. Everything you could possibly need is provided for you. Don't worry if you are a beginner. A nice member of staff climbs aboard with you and explains the important things with regard to navigation and potential dangers to you, and before you notice it you are already on your way. Owing to the previously given assistance our trip was very pleasant and we had a lot of fun. Upon arrival, somebody climbs on board again and parks the boat for you. On top of that, we weren't even charged the full amount of money for the used fuel - a gesture that we really appreciated. You can easily book your boat online - the online system is easy to use and quite simple. We sure would embark on another journey with Ampelaki Boat Rentals.

It was a great experience at a very affordable price (120€ per day). We made the reservation a week before and we did well because in high season the boats are quickly booked. The boat for 7 people was very functional and easy to use. The instructions were clear with a lot of humor! The staff is friendly and honest about the fuel level. The boat rental place is not easy to find but fortunately we had located the place two days before : from the paid parking of Paleokastritsa beach, go to the first beach on the right or ask the parking keeper. Apart from that, we loved our day on the boat and would have liked to repeat the experience 3 days later but the boats were all booked. We finally found another rental company but more expensive. We recommend you Ampelaki Boats.

We were looking for a fun, low-stress family activity (2 adults and 4 teens) for our first full day in Corfu and decided to book the boat with Captain Yannis for the day. Of course, the landscape is amazing and the sea is clear and warm (mid-June), great for snorkeling. Captian Yannis took us to all the best places and introduced us to an amazing beach restaurant for lunch and refreshment. As parents, it was great just focusing on the kids and having fun without having to figure out where we were going. At the end, my youngest son (15) said it had been the best day of his life. So, there you go!

This is the second boat hire we have done in Paleokastritsa but the first time with Ampelaki Boats .. all I can say is wow.. what an experience.. the guys weee amazing from booking through to the safely and local area guide brief.. The boats were clean and serviced well and a bonus ice filled cool box for our Bubbles.. it feels like a lovely family business that really care about their clients..they showed us exactly how much fuel we used to pay for just what we’d used it wasn’t a rough guess like a lot of companies do!! I would not hesitate to use Ampelaki boats again.. superb..

We hired a 6-seater boat for a full day with two young children, two teenagers and two adults. Everyone loved the boat ride, exploring the coves and beaches and swimming in the sea. Great customer service and communication in the booking process. Many of the nearby beaches don’t have cafes or restaurants so I recommend taking food with you or coming back to Ampelaki jetty and having lunch by the beach there. The boat operators were more than happy for us to moor up for an hour then head out again. Fantastic day out!

Yannis was friendly and professional. We got a nice boat with concise clear explanations on how to use it and where to go. The price Was fair and not only were there no hidden extras but Yannis waived the fuel charge and gave us a bag of freshly caught fish!

Hi, How long (on average) would it take to go from Ampelaki to Porto Timoni and would the boat have enough fuel to do a round trip there?

Hi. Its should be around 10-15 mins as far i remember. And trust me you got more then enough fuel. We went from Ampelaki to Porto Timoni, then few small beaches on way to paradise beach and paradise beach itself. We had queiet big boat as was 5 of us and use i think 14 liters of petroil. And when back was still plenty in tank. Enjoy
