Your guide for the excursion programme is a qualified marine expert who will enlighten you on the natural history and marine life of the area. Beautiful private boat trip to Ithica

We took a private evening cruise for our honeymoon on their lovely old fishing boat. The crew were attentive but discreet allowing us time to snorkel and relax at the waters edge. They set up a beach table and then left us alone staying out of the way so we felt completely alone as the sun set.
Absolutely amazing and an experience we will never forget.

Well Worth Going on this Trip

We did a private charter with Vassili and Peter and had an excellent day pottering about, stopping to swim, looking for Patrick the turtle (who decided to play hide and seek), had an excellent lunch on board and an educational time handling starfish, octopus, sea urchin and the like that Vassili caught and brought on board. They were all released back into the sea unharmed of course. If you are in fFscardo, this is trip well worth your time and expense.

A great day

A lovely chilled day with several opportunities to swim in lovely clear bays only accessible by boat .The boat can take 17 people but on our day there were only 7 …..so consequently we had lots of space .Even with 17 people I feel it would not be crowded .
Lovely homemade simple lunch and lots of soft drinks and beer ( super cold !)
All in All really fun

Fabulous Sunset Adventure!

We organised an evening sunset cruise with Ionian Discoveries and had an incredible time! Vasilis and Pierre who took us were a delight and after swimming with turtles (what a thrill) we enjoyed lovely food and drink on board before heading back to Fiskardo as the sun set - an unforgettable time, thankyou! x

Great day's sea-based experience

09.30 start - coffee at the nearby taverna whilst waiting. A full complement of guests, this was a brilliant day. Our crew was amazing, personable and knowledgeable. Several opportunities to swim, beach/shoreline comb. Turtles ahoy near the fish farm too. Magic! Lunch was sufficient, the swimming fantastic with flippers and masks provided. 17.00 return to port - in time for a luxurious dessert along the harbour side.

Fiskardo boat trip

vasilli and effie were great hosts for the day. Vassili taught us all the sea life and history of the island. We saw an octopus and swam next to turtles ( incredible!) we stopped on magical bays - the trip is a must and worth every penny . Thank you

A memorable day on the waves

My husband and 10 year old daughter had a fabulous last day of our holiday, stopping off at little bays, snorkelling in crystal clear water, and we even got to swim close to Bruce the loggerhead turtle which was incredible. Vasili was extremely knowledgable about the marine life and was able to find starfish and urchins to show us. A light, fresh lunch was provided. It was a perfect way to end our Kefalonian adventure!

Magical day out

Had an amazing day with our two older teens. Vasili and all staff were brilliant. Lovely lunch in a beautiful bay. Fantastic snorkelling- loads of fish and saw octopus and sea turtles. Brilliant day out.

A perfect day

A fantastic day sailing between Fiscardo and Ithaca. We stopped at picturesque bays, snorkelling and relaxing. The crew were brilliant, sharing their marine knowledge and history of the area. A perfect lunch was had while anchored at a secluded inlet followed by search for turtles, one was spotted but did not want to be photographed.

A delightful evening cruise

We hired the boat for our last night on holiday and had such a lovely evening. Fabio and Vasili made us very welcome with lovely fresh platters, Prosecco., beers and soft drinks. We had a lovely lesson in the history of Greece, Fiscardo and Ithaka with lots of interesting facts about geology, earthquakes, history and politics, before a beautiful swim (snorkels and flippers provided) and a delightful sunset cruise back to Fiscardo. Highly recommended.
