Coral Bay
About
The clear waters at Coral Bay are calm and shallow, making it a popular swimming spot, especially among families and beginners. There are lifeguards on duty, and you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas. Snorkelers will enjoy spotting marine life amongst the rocks around the bay, and there are watersports on offer, like windsurfing, hand-gliding, and jet skiing. Rent a paddle boat and enjoy an hour out on the water. Parking is free, and there are shower and restroom facilities. Coral Bay Avenue is lined with restaurants and cafes—visit in the summer months when the weather is warm, but on weekdays for fewer crowds. – Tripadvisor

Disappointed that Coral bay was no longer bustling as it was hopefully if will improve for them
Going back to Cyprus as a family was nostalgic. Very disappointed to find most restaurants have put their prices up by a third some double. Some places are good value but not all even the supermarket is a lot more expensive. Apparently lots of their hotels are going all inclusive so the restaurants are struggling to keep afloat.

Beautiful sandy beach and clear waters
Visited Coral Bay for the day. Beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear waters. I'm not a huge fan of the sea (I have a fear of fish) but I got in and had a dip, no fish (well that I could see) hardly any seaweed and soft sand. The sunloungers are priced at €2.50 each and the parasol is also €2.50. Lovely man who takes the money, stopping for a welcomed chat. We had some drinks and snacks from the beach bar, quite pricey but not extremely overpriced. Beautiful views and lovely to spend the day with family. If I went again I would take a lovely picnic/drinks etc

    Ok
Relatively small resort with a small beach which was nice. Mainly restaurants which were in my opinion expensive but lacking quality. Lacking actual bars. Not much to do in resort. The place is nice enough and the people friendly but not enough for a 2 week stay.

    Coral bay dream
Really lovely trip to Coral Bay today. The sunbed hire is very reasonable. 3 beds and a umbrella for ten euro. Very clean, safe and family friendly beach with well thought out facilities. Music playing from the one beach cafe added to the ambience. The beach cafe was well appointed. Staff very friendly and good customer service. Prices aren't too expensive but reasonable. Can recommend the ice latte with caramel. Just wish we had investigated this place earlier as you can't get a sunbed where we are staying!

    Coral Bay Beach
This is a very nice beach for a relaxing day by the sea. There are a number of activities available at the beach including hiring Jet ski, Parasailing, tubing and pedalo with slide. The umbrella and two sunbeds cost us Euro7.50 for the whole day. There is not much beach space available if you do not want to use one of their umbrellas. They will charge you the full amount irrespective of what time you arrive. There is a well stocked cafe offering food and drink and there is free WiFi covering the beach.

    Lovely family beach
Gorgeous beach. All as expected. Showers are apparently one euro each. The only thing missing on this beach is a shower at the exit. Nice paid watersports on the beach. Jetskis, Tubing, Kayaking etc. Inflatables make spending time in the ocean even more relaxing! We went twice during a week in Paphos and both times found a sunbed and umbrella easily. 7.5 euro for one umbrella and two beds. A twenty minute drive from central Paphos.

    Average sandy beach
Most of this coast is rocky, so this is one of the few beaches. Can easily wade into the sea but lots of seaweed. Sunbeds are 7.50 for 2 all day. There are toilets and cafes and lifeguards and water sports available. If a beach is your thing then this is a fine way to spend 4 hours

    Burglary Coral Bay
Hi, just making everyone aware. On last night of villa holiday last night. Staying Coralia Dream 6. Husband woke up at 1am to man in hoodie with a mask trying to break in to our villa. Scared him away but didn't sleep all night. Very scary. Looked online, apparently its everywhere in Coral Bay. A regular occurrence. Sadly wouldn't return to a villa because of it. Been coming here for years.

Fab beach - shame about the leering perverts!!
Lovely beach with clear blue waters. Plus points: 1. Loads of free parking. 2. Found 5-6 beds together what ever time we arrived. 3. Realky cheap. €17.5 for 5 beds and 2 umbrellas. 4. Sea was beautiful. 5. Shop / cafe serves cold drinks and frappe’s etc. Negatives: 1. Beds old and many ripped or broken. 2. No padded cushions to lie on. 3. Sand boiling hot to walk on. Need flip flops and then leave by the sea. 4. We had 2 guys turn up behind us. Blaring out their European trash music whilst getting smashed on the contents of their cool box. 1 bought his full sized shisha pipe too. After gawping at 2 of the young ladies in our party we had to pack up and leave. Obviously this can happen anywhere but was very uncomfortable.

An old favourite from our many visits, quiet morning bathing & swims
Its exactly the same as when we visited many years ago. We arrived just before 9am. Lots of sun loungers, parasols (for hire) & wooden walkways. Overlooked by a few cafes, bars, restaurants and very much needed wc's. Plenty of hiring including pedalos, canoes, SUBs, jetski's etc. Plus beach changing rooms and also massage pergola's. We did not see paragliding, so im unsure if this still goes ahead.??? The waters are shallow in the cove, clear and on our morning, very peaceful, although from previous visits, this is not always the case and the waves can be strong. Beautiful views as ever. We took our own towels and beach mats. Watched the joggers, walkers and locals and packed up just before lunch to head back to our hotel. The sand is clean and soft, and very hot by lunchtime. We used the 615 bus coastal bus route. 1.50 euros p.p each way or you can get a 5 euro ticket to hop on and off all day long. We always return and after this visit, nothing has changed our minds

Lovely little beach with very clear water. Little bits are rocky so might be worth wearing pool/rock shoes. Little avenues near by with shops and restaurants.

Lovely place for a swim and there's a nice family restaurant on the beach. Down side is the beach has been destroyed by sweaty sun loungers leaving only a corner on the far end for those that prefer to spread out our own clean beach blanket.

Great beach with crystal clear and warm water and golden sand.
There are snack/drink bars and toilets either end of the beach and various water sport activities in the middle.
Corallia beach is just 5 mins up the road, and would recommend that one even more,

We had great fun, but the beach itself gave nothing special compared to other Cyprus beaches, other than the sand. Good overall, though, with free toilet and shower.

A beautiful restaurant at the entrance to the Coral Bay strip. Very ambient, with lovely planting in the Court yard, pretty table cloths and fabulous, attentive staff.

We visited this beach in the afternoon and did some swimming and snorkelling. What a lovely picturesque beach, we found sunbeds easily enough, lots of availability. We bought some sandwiches and drinks, very fresh and tasty. One criticism, we didn't think the music needed to be quite so LOUD. We were there to relax and I was a little annoyed the volume kept increasing. It appeared to be at only one part of the beach, so head for quieter spots if you want a snooze, and to listen to the waves.

As a property owner in coral bay, the villia is clean and very plain.

Unfortunately the increase in local burglaries is very worrying, beware

A great place for a holiday, plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. The beach is sandy and safe to bathe. Public transport is cheap and busses run often.
