Took a ride on the miniature railway on Sunday. Took our 10 month old litte girl and our friends took their 2yr old, train mad, litte boy. The squealing ensured me they enjoyed it. Just wish we'd had time to visit the park. The volunteers...More

I arrived to do the railway as a time filler before the bus and paid for my ticket. The railway is a nice size and takes you through the beautiful valley before arriving at the terminus. The journey is smooth and I would definitely recommend.

Was pleased to see the train running when visited Saltburn recently. My grandsons always enjoy a ride through the woods followed by a walk through the Italian gardens

Our Grandson totally enjoyed himself having a coupe of rides on the train. The staff were very welcoming and talked to me about the engine. Not along ride, but you can ride as many times as you wish.

The miniature railway wasn't running whilst we were there but the area it covered was a lovely area so I can see why it is so popular. We walked through the gardens and wooded area and we were really impressed. Travelling by miniature railway would...More

This train and station (Goathland stop) is supposedly where the filmed the butterbeer scene in Harry Potter. Riding this to Whitby Abbey and back was a treat.

The ride takes you along Saltburn Beck through the Valley Gardens and is a good way for people who are not good on their feet to get to see the gardens as well as being a fun ride for children.
