What a gem of a place! Such an interesting and unique history told to us by tour guide Craig who was very engaging and clearly knows his stuff! The interactive elements were great and I had not expected to be witnessing a murder trial - loved it! The bistro is a great addition to the house, such friendly staff, and we had a lush High Tea after the Tour. Very reasonably priced, easy cheap parking across the road. Thank you to everyone at Llanelly House for a thoroughly enjoyable time 😊

We were a large family group, we booked breakfast and then had a tour of the house. Breakfast served in the hall was great and the staff were really friendly. The tour of the house was excellent. The tour guide was brilliant and engaging and the house is beautiful. Definitely recommended!

An excellent tour of the house with a very knowledgeable guide. Learned a lot about the evolution of the house and the families connected with it. Leave plenty of time to visit the cafe either before or after your tour, you won’t be disappointed.

Highly recommended this lovely Welsh restaurant ,this is my favourite cafe, restaurant food , excellent service all staff are lovely and very helpful food very tasty cakes fabulous all in a beautiful building ,you won't be disappointed.

Very interesting tour of historic Georgian House, useing a tour guide (Craig, knows his stuff and presents it with humour) and a mix of audio / visual tech. Well worth the visit. Had lunch in the Bistro after, good food good prices.

We came and did the tour, and had lunch afterwards. Our tour guide, Craig was fantastic and told us all about the history of the house, and took us in lots of different rooms, some with interactive screens ….. it was fab to see modern day technology used to bring the history of the house alive.
We will definitely be back to do the longer tour

Very limited unappealing menu, odd variations of food. No sandwiches or toasties or baguettes just small silly bagels. Very disappointed. Left feeling underwhelmed. Very expensive.

Thank you for taking the time to review and we are so glad of your honest opinion, even though it may not be that encouraging.
We may not appeal to all, with our offerings on the menu and its is an on going challenge to cater for everyone's taste, and there is a plan to change the menu for the summer, which I hopefully see you return.
Regarding the pricing, we are a Grade 1 listed historical building, and the prices are in fairness reasonable and affordable for all, to cover the daily costs.

. I hope that you find the following useful.We have also uploaded a map to our Tripadvisor page. From the M4 West please take the Junction 48 Exit and follow the A4138 to Llanelli As you approach Llanelli, the next road to look for is the A484 – this becomes Thomas Street If you follow the A484 Thomas Street, you will see that on your left you approach a small street called Mincing Lane – if you turn left, and immediately right, you will enter the rear of Llanelly House where it is possible to drop off your visitors and they can then walk around to the front door of Llanelly House if required. I have indicated the cheapest long stay cark park – Edgar Street – this is currently £1.70 for all day car parking. This car park is then a 5 minute walk down the hill past the church to Llanelly House. There are other car parks available. Please consult our website for further information. There is no coach parking nearby at present.
