Llanelli's very own museum set in a wonderful garden. We tell the town's industrial history, have a fine collection of Llanelly Pottery and local paintings.

Parc Howard is our nearest park, and it's where we go whenever we feel like a nice walk, especially as we get closer to spring. We haven't been inside the museum yet, but we love taking a walk around the entire park, stopping off at...More

Stopped off here having run the Llanelli half marathon in the morning, and a very nice place it is too. The museum staff were wonderful, helpful and informative, the exhibits were displayed tastefully, with wonderful information boards explaining the history of the town through the...More

Took the grandkids there in Feb....4 and 7. The park is far better than anything we have in Swansea..with pirate ship, sand pit, balancing blocks, slides, climbing walls etc. Well thought out. Also, in the summer months, there`s a large , rectangular paddling pool..result! We...More

The park this sits in is a favourite with children and dog walker - used constantly by the locals - very friendly. The museum has collections of local artefacts and a range of portraits. Worth a visit if you are nearby

Having left Llanelli many years ago, i thought i would pay Parc Howard a visit (especially as i had my wedding pictures taken there). What a beautiful house. Very interesting exhibition about Llanelli inside.

This historic mansion house is set in one of the best parks in the country, which has won awards in times gone by for its floral display. Sadly the local authority are set on selling off parts of it to make way for car parking,...More

Visited the park and museum, had a lovely walk around the park and visited the museum, which was extremely interesting, the staff were very helpful, and I would definitely recommend a visit, a lot of local information about Llanellis past.

Nice day out . Went in when weather wasn't so good, but really enjoyed the history and the small but interesting things they had on show. Wales history although limited nice place to visit.

Lovely small park with play area for children, small enough to walk around with children or older members of the party. Parc Howard mansion is interesting and quirky, not huge but worth seeing for local history and portraits.

The Park is in the news a great deal at the moment as the public are fighting to keep it open as it was a gift to the people of Llanelli by the Stepney-Howard family. The council wanted to sell it to private developers but... More
