Thanks for taking the time to review your visit to Loch Garten - we're pleased you enjoyed your time with us. (We too enjoy the tasty, cheap coffee, which is Rainforest Friendly, I have to add!!) We hope to see you again.

The RSPB centre at Loch Garten is well worth a visit. Unfortunately there was very little osprey action when I visited, only the resident celebrity female EJ sitting on her favourite perch. Even the red squirrels and crested tits failed to turn up, so I...More

My wife and I visited the Loch Garten centre specifically to see Osprey and we were not disappointed! The centre had spotting scopes set up on the nest, together with closed circuit tv and we were able to view one bird in great detail. We...More

Not only do you get to see red squirrels, crested tits and a host of other birds including the famous ospreys, the walk through the Caledonian pine forest to the two lochs is magnificent.

Never seen so many knowledgeable volunteers offering help to visitors. The binoculars are there for you but there’s also a nest webcam. Interesting display panels about the history of ospreys in the area and the people that developed it. The annual osprey soap opera has...More

No ospreys but saw woodpecker and osprey nest and lots of great information from knowledgeable staff. Really great with the children. We arrive late in the day and they helped us juggle children and dog so that both adults could go to the centre (no...More

Yes, but with a little assistance for most people. Reasonably level but unpaved access. Might be best to give them a call as our visit was a while ago now :(
