The facility appears to be in a transition from being merely a music school/festival venue to becoming an arts center. In talking to the staff (in September) it was evident that this venue is their equivalent of our Tanglewood (Lenox, MA) for music and music instruction during the summer. Orford Arts Centre has changed it name to Orford Music on April 19, 2016. It offers the best in classical music, from education to performance. It is an inspiration melting pot for musicians and students from around to world to meet, learn and perform in the summer from June to August. Did not get to enjoy brunch but the venue looked fantastic. The setting is gorgeous. Another visit is required!

Centre attracts young international musicians to their Master classes. Then you have the opportunity to see some of these students perform for free.
