Lovely large country park in Midlothian just outside Edinburgh. Hosts several music festivals throughout the year. Great for kids too as they have Fort George which has everything a kid could ask for in an outdoor area. Great cafes and shopping area too.

Just had a cracking Festival weekend at Dalkeith Country Park. Let's Rock Scotland on Saturday, Sunday Sessions yesterday. Perfect location in beautiful setting, helped by fantastic weather to be a brilliant weekend. Will return separately to see the full area and facilities.
