If you are in or around this attraction then put it in your planner to visit. Laid out in hut order, starting WW1 and working your way up to the present it will take you back in time. This is not for a quick visit you need to prepare to spend sometime here to really appreciate the fantastic stories and... More

Excellent representation of the world wars. Smells and visual effects are wonderfully set up to bring you into a world where dark times ruled. Every hut has a brilliant story to tell and information to read. Definitely worth £7 and kids are free under 5. Nice cafè and play area to keep little ones busy. Cant recommend enough.

Our school, Woodhouse West Primary, visited Eden Camp to extend our learning about our war topic. Eden Camp was known as a prisoner of war camp during World War 2. Now it has been transformed into a war museum that displays different aspects of World War 1 and 2 in huts. The historic huts are cleverly laid out so that... More

Eden Camp is such an interesting and eye opening place and somewhere I would recommend people to go if they are staying in Yorkshire. The way it has been designed is very impressive and clever. It is cold there, as the museum is set in huts which are open at either end it is cold from start to finish so... More

Give yourself twice the time you budgeted for, as this museum needs lot's of concentration which takes longer than you think. With so many different huts to visit, each with it's own fascinating story, you can easily be absorbed with their contents. Some have very realistic effects and we particularly enjoyed the submarine and the blitz one's. Nice clean cafe... More

Visited this museum as weather not too good, but so glad we did as it was a great afternoon out. Very informative with lots of action exhibits with noises of the day including aircraft bombing, fires and sound recordings of leaders during WW2. There are about 26 huts and there is a cafeteria to get a nice hot chocolate to... More

I loved this place. Pros. Each hut has different themes. Lots to read if you want. Lots of information on world war 2. Go at your own pace. Cons. No heating so wrap up well. We were pretty cold. You go in and out of each building so weather will play a major part. There are lots of school groups.... More

A really good day out for the family, could say that younger kids could get bored after a while. So much information to take on and interesting things to see :) If you're into your history then this is the place to go! The food isn't very nice though and it's over priced, don't let this put you off though.

Visited Eden for a second time, the first being many years ago. I wasn't disappointed with this visit. There are a number of exhibits added since my first visit. Taking one through the history of the past 2 wars with this being November made for quite an emotive time. The prisoner of war part added to the experience. The overall... More
