The Milton Rooms is an arts centre and hub for cultural and community led activities, located in Malton, a market town in North Yorkshire. The Milton Rooms hosts a variety of events – comedy nights, children’s shows, all genres of music, theatre, book talks, craft fairs, exhibitions, conferences, beer and wine events, public consultations and elections. The venue can also be hired privately by promotors for their own events and the general public for parties, Christenings, wakes, weddings etc.

What a brilliant night out at the Milton Rooms last Friday night. We were well looked after by the staff and felt really Covid-safe thanks to the individual tables and spacious layout. Martin Gough was superb...all in all an entertaining, thoroughly enjoyable evening...long overdue. We will be back!

Wonderful venue in Malton with touring theatre, music comedy and family shows. Very friendly staff and some great entertainment. Great set up for socially distanced performances and table service for drinks. Fantastic!

Great venue. Went for 1st time last night to see Redfish Blues Band. Venue just right, run by volunteers. A lot of money has been spent recently… & the loos are lovely.

Hi.
Been coming here for many many years, didn't realise it had a listing on TripAdvisor.
The Milton Rooms is in Malton Market Place so a handy position for many.
Carparking is always an issue in town & here is no different. When theres a show on there are cars galore but they always seem to find a park. There are carparks around the market place inc the old cattle market so the parks are there.
Local Am/Dram's do their shows here, Panto's, Dancing School shows, Exhibitions etc & is quite well used.
Downstairs 'basement toilets' are pretty much off limits for the disabled as there are no facilities at ground level.
Large auditorium gives a big feel to proceedings with good lighting & sound at the panto's & shows.
Yorkshire hospitality greets you as you walk in & you're made to feel welcome.
Bar is sometimes not on as it doubles up as a dressing room for shows.
All in all a very good venue for a wide & varied selection of shows, events etc.

Went to see a musical which was very ood made up of local kids and adults, the only problem it's all on one level. The facilities are downstairs no good for the diabled. Many other shows, meetings, and food exhibitions several times a year.

The people running this place deserve a medal. Played here in December and everyone was lovely! Please to be around and a lovely bar with cracking beers!!!

The Milton Rooms was the venue for the second Annual Cajun Festival. A superb, good sized sprung dance floor. A good stage, Acoustics were fine and the bar had good beers. Organisers were well in touch with requirements and arranged a brilliant weekend.

Our Band (Lewis Hamilton Band) played at The Milton Rooms last night, invited by the newly formed Ryedale Blues Club. It was only the third concert for them, but it was a packed house, a great sound engineer and a lovely attentive and respectful audience. The access was easy, bar staff friendly and the whole experience was wonderful. It's so good to see such a club in such a venue at a time when Live Music is struggling.
