Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The walk was easy not to long, retun about 40 minutes. Definitely worth a look along a bush walk and large bouldered river to a very nice waterfall.

A beautiful part of new zealand. Easy walk which will suit most ages and fitness.
The waterfall is stunning and the track in good condition even with one part having steps made following a slip but its still fine.
The cafe was unfortunately closed but we did sit at the tables having our lunch. Weka and Pukeko roaming around.
Even managed a quick game of Table Tennis.

This is a beautiful walk, relatively easy, the kids loved the swing bridge. Well maintained track and the falls at the end are worth seeing.

It's an easy walk up to the waterfall with stunning views, bridges, clifftop view and a beautiful swing Bridge to cross.

Easy for all ages and plenty of room.
If you're brave hearted for a chilly swim it's well worth bringing a towel

This attraction was recommended by Golden Bay Kayaks and it was well worth the look. They advised it was an easy track and even though we only had jandals it was indeed easy. A comfortable 20-25 minute walk along a well formed track to the falls which are a delight. There is a nice picnic spot a short way into the track, beside the river.
Well worth the small effort to see

Definitely worth stopping for! The walk only took about 20 minutes or so to get there, the falls were beautiful!

Almost completely flat apart from a tiny uphill moment

Highly recommend!

Get amongst it. Wear solid shoes as there are unbridged stream crossings. And expect to get wet at the falls themselves

This is a very easy walk that could be done by most fitness levels. I recommend visiting in the warmer months as there are so many spots to stop for a swim. We did the walk in jandals and then after a swim, walked back bare footed. Very easy, casual walk.
