This ancient temple is within the main complex of the Sanchi Stupas. The temple is of the Gupta period constructed in 4-5th century BC. One can see the symmetry of construction here along with few carvings which have deteriorated with time.

This place is situated nearby the main Sanchi Stupas. The temple is very ancient in the time of the Guptas. Some of the part of this temple is damaged due to the aging factor. It is placed near the broken Ashoka piller.
