I arrived from Turku on bus #7. The driver informed me that the ticket is valid for 2 hrs. A short walk ~500m~ brought me the the beachside town. It was a cold March morning and no one was out. I had the whole wharf to myself. I took many pictures and wander about aimlessly, taking in the tranquility and... More

Naantali old town is a really pittoresque and charming place to visit during the summer months. There are some nice shops and restaurants (eg Trappi), and of course Moomin world is located nearby. Recommend a visit.

Here you can come by public transportation or even S/S Ukko Pekka ship from Turku. We did arrive by car. Was last stop in our Archipelago Ring road tour. Great place to have break after some driving. Nice cozy area to visit. Make shopping, eat and drink and enjoy seaside. Near island is theater and Moomin Land. There we didn't... More

Beautiful area with lots of individual character and an artsy, calm vibe. The residents seem to take real pride in their houses and it shows. Such a pretty place which is sure to enchant both local and foreign travellers.

It's a wonderful place to just hang around and spend a day lazyng around. We had a good walk around Nantalli...sitting at different places near the sea...on the rock, on the bench, on the benches etc enjoying wonderful views and the sun.

Old Town had a festival with vendors selling everything from '20's womens hats to EBikes and from homemade fudge to Greenhouses. We enjoyed watching water sports from the cafe and drinking wine on the docks.Even the drunken sailor peeing on the lilac bushes added to the experience.
