We visited the beach through a local boat-tour (it's impossible to reach it otherwise due to the cliffs), and we spent some good few hours travelling there. It's a wonderful location, but we were a bit disappointed to find out that the ship isn't that old. On top of that, it's covered in what I must assume are some very... More

I had read many reviews before I went, so bought appropriate footwear to prevent the pebble pain on my feet (brilliant advice btw). We caught the boat over, it took forever personally (I'm not great with boats, especially after a few too many the night before - check how long with your tour company as some are all dayers or... I absolutely loved this excursion, it was so beautiful. The sea was so clear and the beach was lovely. I'd recommend keeping shoes on as the shallow sea and beginning of beach are covered in stones and shells and do hurt your feet. The only downside is you didn't get much time to spend on the Shipwreck beach. 🙁

The water is amazing, blue colour looks unreal. However, this is a little bit overrated attraction. Nothing really amazing except the water of course. But old, rusty shipwreck and hundreds boats with tourists can be skipped. You don't have to go to that beach, the view is way better from the far perspective.

Sea was so clear that you could see the tiny fishes that swim around your feet and give you a free pedicure!. beautiful cove, kids loved exploring the rusty old ship.Great boat ride there and back.

Looks nice in the brochure, then you get there and realise it's packed full of boat trips, it isn't lovely white soft sand at all and the waters freezing. Still looks pretty from a distance though.

I went there, because I saw it between 10 most visited beach in the world. I can recommend it. I bought a ticket for adult/22 eur in Laganas (included staying in Blue caves). We had the best ship, which was in the offer. Attention, there is only 50 minutes for staying there. Will be ready to very cold water -... More

we raced two other boats and lost. We then had to swim ashore as we could not get close enough. What a dissapointment, a rusting wreck that is full of graphiti

We had heard about the Shipwreck beach and we thought we'd give it a try. It was absolutely beautiful! The beach is so scenic! We visited with a small group through Nefis Travel and so were on a smaller boat, arriving there before the larger vessels. It was an amazing day our for our family and I would strongly recommend... I went while on holiday in August, it is definitely a must see while in Zakynthos. The water is an amazing blue colour. The trip we went on was through Thomson and was a half day trip which also went past the face of Poseidon which is also an amazing thing to see. It was very busy but we were... More
