This is a completely unique and unforgettable experience and i highly recommend it to anyone who loves birds or animals!

Scott is clearly very professional as a bird caretaker and trainer. All birds are in great condition and well taken care of. He also has a number of other animals on his property which made the whole situation so fun - some cats, dogs and peacocks hang around the place too.

I did the 1.5 day excursion which includes overnight accommodation, a flight with the American Vulture, introduction to his birds (about a dozen of them including hawks, vultures, kestrels, and an owl), and a training session where we got to handle the birds, have them fly between us, and walk them around the field. My favorite was the American Kestrel!

When you're up in the air with the bird on the paraglider, you're flying tandem with scott and he handles all the photo taking and video so all you need to do is enjoy and feed the bird (yes, you get to feed the bird mid air!!)

Also I would point out that you do not need to jump off any cliff to get the paraglider in the air. You're just walking down a hill, and the mountain area is windy enough that after a while you naturally take off. The hill doesn't abruptly end or anything.

one tip is that it gets quite cold in the air (we went in late november) so bring enough clothes...

huge thank you to Scott for taking care of us and showing us such a special experience.

Parahawking in Nepal a few years ago was such an amazing experience, I had to come back when the Mason family, and his birds of prey, and parasails moved to Spain.
Scott’s expertise, and Anita’s delicious cooking, combine with the beauty of the Andalusia hills to make a perfect adventurous outing. When you take off from the mountain with a vulture on your arm, it is an experience like no other! Where in the world could you be gliding in the sky over the countryside with your personal vulture guide, and professional human pilot as your companions.
Last week, my teen granddaughter and I, her 70 year old granny, went to Algodonales to do a bird’s of prey experience, and a couple of parahawking jumps. We stayed in a lovely Spanish farm house with lemon and orange trees in the yard, and a menagerie of peacocks and birds of prey in the yard. With a fire in the fireplace every night, and homemade breakfast in the sunshine in the morning, and a sky full of brilliant stars at night, we couldn’t have asked for more.
Then we did a day of spectacular sightseeing to nearby Rhonda and Zahara to put a cherry on the top of this perfect adventure and vacation. Thanks Scott and Anita for so much fun!

We had great time getting to know many of his lovely birds and it was just amazing flying with them! We learned a lot of interesting facts about birds of prey and really enjoyed handling them in person. It was my first time paragliding let alone parahawking but Scott is super professional, it was not scary at all. You can just leave everything to him and next thing you know you're flying!

The part of Andalusia it is based is very pretty too and it's well worth a day out if you are staying on the coast. If anyone is remotely interested, I'd say just do it!

I love trying new things and having different experiences. this one did not disappoint, paragliding with the vultures was a very unique and amazing experience.
We booked in on the bird of prey package, including flight with birds , 2 night stay, lunch, Falconry experience and we paid extra for dinner. Not one thing on the list disappointed, couldn't have asked for a better weekend and would 100% advise everyone to try it 👊👊

Scott is knowledgeable and passionate about these birds, making your experience exciting and insightful. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The surroundings and set up is fantastic, set in a most idyllic part of Spain. Would highly recommend. We were blessed with stunning weather too! A memorable time.

What do you give your husband for his 70th birthday. It has to be something special. We'd book a walking trip in Grazalema Natural Park so I hunted around for something to do on THE day. Then I discovered Skywings Falconry. Scott, the business owner, was so helpful in putting together a package for the day (whilst we were still in the UK) - spending time meeting all his amazing birds in the morning.....with the plan of going paragliding with his vultures at the end of the day. We'd never paraglided before but fortunately my husband was thrilled with the idea of the whole day! Phew! Scott arranged for us to be collected from our hotel. Sadly the weather was too windy to paraglide but the day was truly amazing without it. We've never handled birds but we were soon out there with kestrels, an owl, hawks and vultures. We learned so much about the birds, the challenges of caring for them and how to handle them correctly. The feeling when a vulture comes swooping towards you to land on your hand is incredible. Scott is passionate about his birds and business and we both haven't stopped talking about this special day since then! We are already planning another trip back to Spain when hopefully we'll be able to take to the skies with the birds as well as spend more time back on terra firma with the birds and Scott. If you want to do something really remarkable, try Skywings!!

On arriving at the charming Spanish cottage, you're welcomed by Scott. A friendly reassuringly calm gentleman with a passion for birds and a great sense of humour. You meet the birds, falcons, kestrels, owl, vultures and then walk back through the garden to make your way up to take off. Already keen to get started you have a short considered briefing about what to do both in flying and feeding the birds. Then you take to the sky. The rest would be a spoiler. Safe to say though you land with a smile. Scot and David are Paolo are both generous with their time and I know that if you try it you'd love it!
Thanks guys!

What a wonderful experience experience ! Kids and parents got to handle an owl, falcons and vultures. We held them and made them fly. Later my husband and I did the parahawking experience: while paragliding, we fed the two cultures in the air. Amazing even though I was scared to fly at first.
The birds are very well taken for, Scott was a wonderful host. We recommend this experience with all our heart
