In short, I highly recommend this FlySpain paraglideing school, but if you want to know why, you are welcome to read my story below.
My path to paragliding was not easy nor simple. Recently I decided to complete my education, which I started quite a long time ago, but since I live in England, I decided to speak with several local schools first. It turned out that the hills for flights are located in the middle of nowhere and it's not easy to get to them without a car. But the worst part turned out to be when I was told that even if I sign up for every flight day from mid-October to the end of the year, the chance that I would be able to complete at least an EP course is not high, and in winter there will be no classes at all, and all this was because of the English weather. In general, I was completely upset.
Suddenly, I noticed that the BHPA website says about accredited schools, but the learning process takes place in Spain. That's how I found this place, but I chose this particular school because Nicola showed incredible patience in communication, answering promptly and thoroughly. The EP course itself was taught by Dylan and Marcelo, two qualified paragliders, and the CP course was taught by Robert, a very experienced, friendly and cheerful instructor. Addtional benifit of that school that yo need to care about anything, because that price covers shatle from and to airport, accomodation and equipment renting etc.
Other schools have not shown even half as much interest in new students as this one.

I just finished my second course with Fly Spain, and I can't recommend them enough! The staff are incredibly professional, providing clear explanations and flawless demonstrations of what’s needed. If you’re serious about learning from the best, Fly Spain and their team of top-notch instructors are the way to go

FlySpain has the perfect mixture of friendly and easygoing people, professional attitude, knowledge and experience, and a location that allows for preferable flying conditions most of the time. They provide training for both beginners and experienced pilots which can be booked through their user friendly website. Contact with the owners and other staff has been swift and easy. FlySpain also offers optional on site accommodation which is very convenient for most. Once a course is completed they provide great ways to stay in touch and ask questions if need be. Overall a great experience! If you consider doing both EP + CP, I would highly recommend to book both courses sequentially to get the most out of it and keep the momentum going. The only thing owner and instructor Rob disappointed me with was his lack of sarcasm. I could’ve done with a bit of sarcasm. For the rest no complaints.

Just completed the CP course with Rob & Paulo having done the EP in October. Amazing instructors, very patient, reassuring and witty! We had bad weather during the week and so were kindly offered to extend our trip to provide an extra days flying, tuition and accommodation at no extra charge, on the instructors’ only day off in the week, which was invaluable for our confidence levels as we had an amazing day of flying and so was much appreciated! I’m heading back in September for Mentor Plus and really looking forward to it!

Doing my Club Pilot training with FlySpain was one of the best decisions I've ever made! The entire experience was outstanding. The flying locations were stunning, the accommodation was cozy and beautifully decorated, and the whole team was simply fantastic. Plus, you meet a lot of great people that are there for the course too.
I was quite nervous about running off a cliff and the whole flying process, but the support I received was incredible. I felt completely safe and reassured all the times.
Marcelo and Fred are not only exceptionally talented instructors but also wonderful human beings. Their instructions were clear, precise, and delivered with a calm demeanor that really helped me feel confident. They genuinely care about making sure you have a great time and go above and beyond to get you flying.
We had perfect weather, and I was able to fly a lot, including an unforgettable flight along the coast that lasted over an hour. Absolutely breathtaking!
If you're considering learning to paraglide, I can't recommend them enough. It was truly an unforgettable experience!
I will be back with my daughter as soon as possible!

I did the elementary course and club pilot course, Paolo and Rob were super; they were great fun, very informative, patient and adapted their teaching style to each of us on the course!
I’ve done a number of different courses in different sports but these guys stand out
Their teaching went beyond ‘textbook’ - you really learn so much more with FlySpain. They gave me everything I need in order to be confident to continue my paragliding journey, and they made it super fun!
FlySpain isn’t just a course provider, it’s a chance to join a network of passionate paragliders to enjoy it all with!

Another EPIC week at FlySpain for the Club Pilot course which I happily passed in a single week (I hear that doesn’t happen everywhere!) There was a great group of like minded people on the course and we became good friends and got some amazing flights from three different mountain launches as well as a day at the beach which opened my eyes to what’s possible with coastal soaring. As expected the instructors are incredibly skilled and experienced pilots and they built our confidence even when the wind wasn’t exactly playing ball. Looking forward to returning soon for Mentor Plus and hopefully SIV when that gets going next year!

What a fantastic experience. I was a complete new comer to Paramotoring and could not have chosen a better school. The standard of instruction is of the highest level but friendly and constructive at the same time. Instructors always put safety first. The accommodation is beautiful, a real home from home, and creates an atmosphere of collaboration and community.
The equipment used was carefully chosen for you personally and of the highest standard. I left with a Novice Pilot qualification and feel confident flying by undertaking the zero to hero course.
I cannot recommend Fly Spain high enough. I look forward to going back to progress my skills and qualifications.

Fantastic place to learn to fly. Instructors are excellent and dedicated to giving you the best training possible. The assistance offered going forward after you have done your course is fantastic too, you feel like you are being welcomed into the community. Would highly recommend

I’ve just returned from completing my second course with FlySpain (CP) and they’ve exceeded my expectations on both occasions.
The instructors are a great bunch of people; passionate about flying, fun, confidence inspiring and thorough. You’re in good hands.
I bought my gear from the FlySpain shop before returning for the CP. The before and after sale support has been top-notch.
Special thanks to Paolo and Rob who both went above and beyond to get us flying as much as possible.
We ended the week with a stunning evening flight at El Bosque, including a gentle introduction to thermalling with the vultures. It’s fair to say I’ve left completely hooked on flying and will definitely be returning for more in the future.

Hi there, your BHPA membership (which you will have to buy separately) will cover you for 3rd party and your European Health Insurance card (If you reside in an EU country) will cover your health insurance. Otherwise you will need holiday medical insurance.
