Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Plaza de Armas of Pucallpa is an interesting place with nice sights, like a church, the city hall and a main monument just in the middle of the square. It's relatively quiet so you can sit for a while to catch your breath or stay a bit longer enjoying the calm and the fresh air. Take into account that the weather is very hot all the year round, thus the best moments to visit are the late afternoon or the early evening.

The Plaza in Pucallpa is very nice. One of the nicest in the Amazon. There are two nice coffee shops right across the street. There is also a great Ice Cream shop close to the plaza. You can get on a open two story bus there that will take you on a nice tour of the city. You pick it up in from of the municipal building. If you go watch out for the overhanging tree limbs during the ride.

If you're in Pucallpa you'll no doubt come past here. The square is nice and spacious and there is lots going on all around as it is in the middle of town.
The plaza has lots of seating so you can relax and watch the craziness go by, with hectic motorbike taxis and traffic all around. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby too.
The plaza itself is not super exciting but it's a good location and you'll no doubt see it if your in town.

Not much to see or that is distinct or that would set it apart - too much cement and not enough flora or fauna ... Really if you must, best to see it from Manu Cafe w/ A/C.

Located in the center of town, this place is a short walk to the river, the docks, and the local historic sites! Definitely a photo op!

Plaza de Armaz is the ideal place to watch people. Located right in front of the cathedral, there are benches to sit and read a book or watch the locals. In the evening the water fountain comes to life n kids practice their roller blades. There's an old gentleman who'd love to preach about Jesus n offer you a blessing n a prayer in exchange for your attention. Vendors come by offering snacks n drinks so you do not have to lose your perch looking for refreshments.

Plaza de Armas now has a beautiful walking street with no motor cars all the way to the river. You just cross the road. Also the down the street from the Plaza is the Herb Market and nearby are the best internets in town there is a mahogany tree there. Are other tree species
