I had an opportunity to see this attraction in the beginning of December. It was a beautiful day and probably one of the best times to go and not be crowded out with too many people. The Lighthouse is impressive as it stands out against the sky and is easy to photograph. I greatly enjoyed being able to scramble around... More

Peggy's Cove is better than the pictures you see online! It was completely breath taking. The waves were intense the day I went. Crashing into the rocks with such force and power, it was mesmerizing. I definitely recommend going in the off season though. I can imagine how touristy it gets in the dead of the summer. I also stayed... More

Halifax friends drove us to Peggy's Cove and Lighthouse. What an unusual setting with all the large flat rock formations around it--great fun for leapfrogging! The Lighthouse is perfect in its simplicity and majestic sitting on the sea. One of our most memorable days of sightseeing. The little town area near here is delightful too!

This is a lovely place on the water, but the day we visited, it was over-run with tourists on a windy day in October. We were able to find parking but it would have been more pleasant with fewer tourists and buses.

Beautiful lighthouse with stunning views. It was a bit drizzly and the waves were crashing up against the rocks, which made for an interesting atmosphere. But despite the weather, it was super crowded which was unfortunate, as it took awhile to get close enough to the lighthouse to take pictures and there were tons of people milling about as we... The weather wasn't the greatest when we went but the view was still stunning. Be careful where you step, lots of great spots to take photos.

After 41 years having a Peggy's Cove photo from 1970 in our living room, enjoyed the real thing! We made it! Drizzly but hey - beautiful views, nice walk out to the point over the rocks. Too many tour buses, but this is the most-photographed place in Canada!

This is a must see spot when in the Halifax area. Gorgeous vista and fun climbing on the rocks. The town is quaint and very pictoresque

Stopped here on a tour from our cruise ship. Didn't walk out to it because where we stopped was close enough for great pictures.
