Carcavelos is a top beach just outside Lisbon. Very easy access (lots of car parking, train station nearby), ton of facilities (including bars and restaurants, restrooms, showers, sports facilities, shopping), makes this beach feel quite "urban". Very good visit all year round, either to sunbathe or swim over the Summer or a meal and a walk on a sunny day over the the Winter!…

Huge beach with white sand, perfect if you like to walk and enjoy the views. It has many suefing groups and nice restaurants to have a great beach day. One of my favorites of the area.

Praia de Calrcavelos has a really good beach vibe and scene. There are places to rent surfboards and surfing schools. you can walk along the promenade or have a coffee or drink in one of the many bars, coffee houses or restaurants, The local train makes this an easy location to get to.…
