This aquarium holds a good range of fish and sea life. Self explanatory displays in english which is very convenient, and I got to see sea lions, and otters. There's a beautiful triangle shaped arch way which you can walk through. Took heaps of photos here.

I went here with kids and could learn a lot from this aquarium. I could see the replica of an extinct ancient fish.

My daughters love this place! Their favorite this is to fish and eat what you caught right away. They cook/fried the fish in front of you. My brother said that it was the best fried fish he ever had eaten. Also, kids loved to play in the pond/ocean shore area. You can get inside the water with clothes because it's... More

日本の水族館がお通しのように、皆さんは魚やうなぎをよく食べたがっていたよ!なるほど水族館の中に寿司屋もある。 We also had a tour of the "behind the scenes" inner workings of the aquarium that day.

Absolutely must see. I visited in 2006 (the required date would not let me go further back than 2015), so I am sure that it is very different now, but this aquarium was by far the highlight of my trip and I will be back.

This place is a must see. The kids loved it and enjoyed every minute of our visit. Be prepared to spend at least 2 hours or more to really enjoy the marine life. Definitely worth the money to get in, will visit again soon.

Used to go to Aqua Marine with my family a lot when we lived in Iwaki. Our first trip was soon after the aquarium opened long ago and we continued going several times a year for some years afterwards. Enjoy this aquarium more than the more famous ones overseas like the Georgia Aquarium which is billed as the world's largest.... More

According to our daughter the original aquarium (and surrounding area) was destroyed by the tsunami in March 2011- all the fish were killed and the mammals had to be moved to other locations, In less than 1 year they have totally rebuilt the aquarium and restocked it - incredible! The aquarium itself was amazing - seals, fish, crustaceans, eels. The... More

One of the best aquariums we have ever visited! Lots and lots of interesting things to see. From walruses to large fishtanks filled with aquatic life. They even have a fishing area! Perfect for families! We had a tremendous time here!
