Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Trip to Japan with my son, he wanted to drift. We don’t have a car but booked a Drift Taxi with Team Orange! Naoto Suenaga is an expert driver and my son will never forget the awesome rides he had!! If you love drifting this is the place to go to!!

I have little interest in cars or drifting, and was brought by friends, but I had a blast, and left with a newfound appreciation for the culture. To be honest, the drift taxi experience was terrifying, yet thrilling and fun, like a rollercoaster. I'd definitely go again. The driver was friendly and kind, and was keen to explain how everything worked. I could appreciate his talent, and felt in safe hands. If you're even slightly interested in drifting, Ebisu Circuit is a must-visit!

Did a Drift matsuri up @ Ebisu Circuit... Had everything planned out through Powervehicles.com and stayed close to the track. Definently Drift Heaven.. Food at the Cafeteria onsite is cheap and delicious, The track itself is very easy to get as well!

My husband and son and a friend took "drift" lessons here, and although I went along for only part of the ride (and quickly became a spectator again!), the lessons and the experience were fantastic. It was fun even to be a spectator, my role.
From my observation and my husband's reporting, the instructor was delightfully enthusiastic and helpful, and our three drift students did fantastically well. At the end of the lessons, the instructor took those of us who were interested on a wild and exciting "drift ride" near the track. He's quite the expert!
While this is a pricey experience, it's truly unique and worth doing if you are in Japan--and like the idea of such things!

We visited Ebisu on a hot September day as part of our 4-week Japan roadtrip.
When we arrived there was not much activity because most cars were loaded for the upcoming D1GP round in Odaiba.
Even though Andy (Powervehicles) seemed busy, he took us out for tandem practice together with Nian, and we absolutely loved it! Really awesome place to visit for drifting fans!

It's a drift mecca. If you are into drifting or motorsport then you must visit this place. And you can rent a car too. And it's a worderfull zoo with safari nearby. And it's not a single track but several different tracks. And there is a drifting school too.

Spent a fun week drifting at Ebisu last week of November 2014.
Midweek is quiet so plenty of track time, and lots of space to practice and play.
They love a concrete block here which helps to focus the mind, as do the walls and ditches.
Gets a bit busier at the weekend, but between all the different tracks, there is plenty of space for everyone at whatever level your at.
Kuru kuru to find your feet, south , and school great fun, then working towards north and the touge if you dare.
November is rainy and cold with the odd snow shower, on the plus side your tyres last a bit longer.
Theres a garage on site for fuel and Power vehicles are on site to sell you a car / tyres and help you get it running again, should you get too close to those pesky walls or each other.
Great cafe, and lots of vending machines.
Lots of cover for working on your cars at all the tracks, with power points, and everyone we met so friendly and helpful.
If you love drifting, make the effort to get here, you'll love Ebisu

As a drifter and drifting fan I had always wanted to visit Ebisu and was not disappointed! Came over the Autumn Matsuri and both the driving and tracks are insane! If you think you know good driving, these guys are better. Awesome atmosphere and absolutely worth the trip for any drifting or Motorsport fan!

If you are into drifting, Ebisu is the place to be. Plus, if you are lucky with the dates, you can witness a D1 championship race.

Hello !
I’d love to know if it’s safe to go there because of the Fukushima nuclear disaster (radiation) ?
Thank you!

We didn't go to Ebisu circuit because it was too far from the rest of our journey and we ran out of time.
I'm sure it is fine. People still live there, don't they! You would just be visiting for a short time.
My son would have preferred Ebisu circuit as his priority to see car Drifting but unfortunately it didn't fit in with our plans. NExt time hopefully.

Hi, Quick question re appropriate months to visit Ebisu circuit !!
We are planning a trip and only month we can go is July. Am worried it will be too hot to drive at Ebisu? And what about rain, Does it rain too much to drive safely at this time of year ? Any thoughts? How humid is it in this part of Japan. I am really worried about the heat. Have heard the heat is pretty bad. thanks

When's the best time of the year to visit Ebisu?
Written 17 April 2018
April until November. After or before those dates it tends to be a bit tricky with the snowfall for the season.

Does anyone know what I need to rent/buy a car at ebisu? Age requirements license ect.?
Written 16 January 2018
A bit late, but The Sideways Experience rent out drift cars and do hot laps etc. You can also purchase a car and store through them. You don't need a drivers license but you do need to know how to drive a manual car. Hope this helps .
