Euromos Temple is located on the Söke Milas road about ten km away from Milas. It is hidden in an olive grove, that means in really bucolic landscape. It is a pleasure to visit this ancient site if you are well equipped. You should wear...More

This site is amazing, we were there twice before, but this time August 2018, when we went it was closed, entrance blocked, as some works, probably to pave the dirt road into the site, and improve facilities.

Euromos is an ancient city about 12 km north of Milas on the main highway; it is only indicated by a small brown sign on the highway which is easily missed. You can see the ruins of Euromos from the highway if you're heading south...More

On the way from Milas to İzmir, is a must see ancient site. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful, you can wonder around the templement without the massive crowds, very mystical.

You will need to keep your wits about you to spot the turning, just (ie 100 metres) to the East of the dual carriageway going north from Milas. Wonderful temple of Zeus is amongst the half dozen best preserved monuments in Asia minor. If the...More

Thanks tripadviser! I'd never found it without it. It is almost unmarked, but fantastic site. By the way, there were no one to collect entrance fee (September 2015), no one at site at all!
