There is a river in front of the temple in which we can find a shoal of fish big and small and with different colours including red swimming everywhere. We can also feed them and it's wonderful to watch them grabbing their food.

Kulathupuzha temple is attracted by tourist due to a fish feeding area of Kulathupuzha river near by the Temple. Some devotees of the temple are strongly believe that the fishes in the river are "Thirumakkal" of lord Vishnu . Anyway you can feed the fish here with rice, peanut etc..
