We went there on a sunny but windy day and it was absolutely amazing ! This place is near the CBD (you can easily catch a tram) but quite different ! There are a couple of very nice beaches and the atmosphere is peaceful.

The old princess pier with it’s stumps in the bay is a picturesque melbourne icon that has been photographed hundreds of times. With good reason has it’s very pretty

As well as nice views of the bay, Princes Pier has an interactive display with interesting historical information, including its role as the arrival point for many migrants.
