Visited this park again and took an alternate route to have a look at the red ocre mine works , pathways are fairly rugged so not for everyone and some steep climbs in places but well worth taking a look.

I didn't read any reviews before i did this, i just fancied doing it. I got the train from Benidorm up to Albir (15mins) and found myself heading for the mast by going directly up the north side (very steep and rocky for 30 mins)...More
Taxi is around €8, bus to Albir around €1.50 or walk. Walk is beautiful, but not easily marked out once you go past the benedo cross. It’s also a fairly strenuous walk so not suitable for young children.
