This is a lovely area that borders on to the small pretty seaside town of Albir (some still refer to it as the Village) within the larger community of Alfaz Del Pi. The Parque comprises the Serra Gelada range which whilst not high enough to comprise mountain status has all the characteristics of such. Indeed many are of the opinion... More

At least once a year I try to do the trail from Albir over the antenna to the cross of Benidorm, a five hour walk. It's necessary to have a really good condition, you can't compare this with strolling to the lighthouse ! If it's sunny and hot, take enough water with you ! ! ! The views are magnificent... More

A really good place to visit for a wonderful walk all the way to the lighthouse. Also very nice to "climb" all the way to the top op the mountain! :)

Nice walk in the winter sunshine, chilly to start but we soon warmed up. Takes about an hour and half gentle stroll and enjoying views at the top. Sadly no cafe, tourist shop or wc when you get up there, an opportunity missed by the local council I think. It would be a shame to spoil the walk and views... More

Took the walk while staying in Albir. Car park at the entrance to the Parque provides information boards including english translations. The walk to the lighthouse is predicted to take approximately 90 minutes although it took me around an hour, while not walking too hard. The route is along a wide paved path suitable for walking with pushchairs or wheelchair... More

At some kilometers of the awful town of Benidorm, fortunately it stays some places like the Parque Natural de la Serra Gelada. Several paths exist. The main one goes to El Faro of Albir. Lot of people on this easy way so we decided to join the mount governor at 2,1 kms (on the right at the beginning of the... More

Fantastic walk with superb views, our second visit here. For those who don't feel like the walk there are Segway tours here too through TMR Segway in Benidorm.

We really enjoyed this walk. Not too strenuous , with fantastic views and lots of photo opportunities. No places to sit, or get any shade so go well prepared.

This is a pleasant walk along smooth tarmacadam road way from albir. The walk is on a gentle incline for most of the route. You can drop down off the road down to the old workings. There are plenty of information boards along the route. People walk/run and cycle this route. There is no shade from the sun along this... More

What a fabulous walk on well prepared footpaths to a beautiful lighthouse on top of cliffs. Walk begins through a pine wood. The smells and freshness of the air are amazing. Views of the bay all along the walk. A must for cameras. Owners just missing a trick at the lighthouse because would do a roaring trade if supplied a... More
