When the Aces High Gallery in Wendover was located just off the main street, I often visited to browse through the extensive selection of prints and other military artefacts. After the move to the new premises I had 2 prints that required framing so I decided to support the business by asking Aces High to frame them. I took my... More

The other half is an avid collector of all things aviation, particularly about or inspired by World War 2. So I found myself standing in a queue of other like-minded collectors of wartime art and memorabilia waiting to be let into a veterans signing event one Sunday morning in mid-February. We arrived an hour early and there was already a... More

A gallery for the aviation buff, especially if you are interested in history of the World War Two era. Excellent art of all sorts, and knowledgeable staff.

Seems to be a tourist trap for overpriced stuff. They get a lot of veterans in from the Halton Apprentices but I don't see much evidence of selling much.

Love this place ever since it opened. Indeed have hanging on my wall a signed limited edition BBMF print.

If you are into aviation art, there can't be a better place in the country to visit. From originals with antique artifacts to reproductions, there is something for every budget. Fantastically knowledgeable staff and a car park to top it off!

The gallery is packed with fantastic paintings (originals and limited edition prints). As the name suggests the focus is mostly pictures of aircraft but believe me, you don't have to be an aircraft nerd to enjoy them. The gallery also has regular signing visits by veteran aircrews, for example surviving Spitfire pilots and Lancaster aircrew. If you're in the Chilterns... More

I took my other half here because his Dad used to fly, it was a great experience for hi, lots of good art and the people couldn't be nicer. It's not my thing but if you're into memorabilia, history and art its worth a visit.

A gallery and shop for Military and War time posters and prints. A tremendous selection , both limited and open editions. Many signed by military personnel involved in the scenes portrayed in some of the prints. The staff are a little pushy so please back off so that one can view in peace.

Staff a little pushy all rather tight and confined. They were friendly but a little overwhelming. It's an okay galley and if you have a few spare grand you could buy something. But worth a look for all the memorabilia and bits.
