Central located temple with a nice court, the temple itself unfortunatley is not open for the public (at least wasn't when we were there). There's also a museum at an extra charge.

Not saying that this place is bad, but busy temple is just not my thing personally. We managed to take a lot of pictures with the red leaves though. Let's say we enjoyed the red leaves but not the crowd.

Very nice temple in a beautiful onsen town. Quite busy with tour groups and tourists. Worth a visit and then head to the local shops nearby.

This temple is not very big, but well kept and pretty. Sometimes big tour groups come by, but they don't stay there too long. It is otherwise pretty nice and quiet.

Very small temple. Clean and specious layout. The surprising part was the water to wash hands is Onsen so it's hot! You can also see Shiba inu here - I guess the owner owns him.

The town was kind of built around this temple. It's a Buddhist temple and it's linked to the onsen nearby also the power struggle at the Kamakura Shoganate (1185 to 1333). It's a relatively small temple and you will enjoy a quiet afternoon walk in...More

Nothing special about this temple, it looks like other temples in Japan, but when we came there was a nice exhibition of Hina Matsuri (Hina dolls) in the temple, which was nice. Definitely come by to see the temple if you are in Shuzenji.
