Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have been many times and it is lovely, however today spoilt it! We went to pay for parking and all the machines were covered up and instructions to download an app for payment. (These car parks used to be free. Yorkshire water extracting more money from the public and still contaminating our waters!) What happens if people who are not into apps arrive there and want to enjoy a walk? I think this is an outrage and put a dampener on our day as I don't want to down load an app on my phone thank you very much!! We headed home after a 45min journey. We tried the other carpark and that was the same.

I went with my mum for a walk around fewston and ended up fewston and swinsky reservoir.we took a stroll around and it took us about 4/5 hours.the views are beautiful especially in autumn and winter time and we will be going back in summer just to see how it changes through the months.plenty of benches scattered around incase you need a breather.fewston reservoir is more of a vigorous walk as it’s a little hilly but not too much whereas Swinsky reservoir is flat all the way around and also has a picnic area and a place to feed the ducks.good place to fish too if that’s what you are wanting as we saw a few people fishing around swinsky.I would highly recommend for a nice walk.plenty of parking and only about 10mins by car from otley..

Found this walk on a random Google search and very much perfect. Toilet facilities at the main carpark, ice cream van and and a circular walk tick my list of preferences.
Plenty of opportunities for my dogs to get a drink too and nice easy flat terrain.
Perfect day out on an sunny Easter Saturday .
Nice 4.5 mile length too

We have done this walk several times and it’s always a lovely and enjoyable experience. We went for a walk in February 2022 with our newborn baby in a pram. The main reason for leaving this review is to make other new parents aware this is a pram friendly walk - the terrain is relatively rough, but still able to push a pram over.
I’m always looking for reviews regarding them being baby/ pram friendly so thought this may help!
The toilet facilities are at the car park, there isn’t any on the walk around the reservoir - but a beautiful walk non the less.

What a lovely walk. Very easy 4 miles. Pathed all round. Nice roomy car park with very clean well maintained toilets not like our local res where you sometimes have to nip behind a tree lol.
We found our selfs in Harrogate for a concert
So we was dogless. They would have loved it. We will have to call again with them. X
