Great place to sit and watch the boats come in . We sat at the Ship Inn and had lunch while watching the boats sail in. Great place to people watch.

Lovely beach, cute restaurants and stores dotted along the harbour. Usually full of tourists sitting outside enjoying the view!

Even on a cold and blustery day, this was a lovely place to stand and watch the sea, and ... we got lucky and saw a seal! Nice place to clear your lungs and your head.

This harbour is one of the most beautiful harbour in the world and the coast around is amazing. Great place to visit.

A pretty harbour like many others on the Scottish and Irish coasts, several restaurants and pubs in the immediate vicinity. Limited parking and the public toilets could do with a good cleaning. There is a safety training facility for the offshore industry in the harbour....More

Although there was 50 ft waves on the day of the vist this is a lovely little harbour with lots of eateries and accommodation and shops in the harbour

Visited with my wife in February, Stonehaven is a small town on the east coast of Scotland, with shops,pubs etc, lovely beach, and harbour with restaurants along the side,

We had a day visit to Stonehaven but recommend the Station Hotel in Stonehaven. Trips to Balmoral castle when it is open and Dunnottar Castle should also be considered.
