A powerful and beautiful waterfall...I'd for sure check it out if you are in the area. The geyser area is nearby as well.

This was the last stop on our Golden Circle tour and they saved the best for last. This is a beautiful two-tier waterfall. We were fortunate to have some sun, so got partial rainbows at several of the viewing sites. The amount of water is...More

A very popular and busily visited part of the Golden Circle. Plenty of parking (even at peak times with lots of tour buses). When we visited it was lightly raining and that combined with we prevailing wind blowing the spray from this waterfall along the...More

I dont want to describe the waterfall too much. Lets just say its well worth a visit. A few tips. As its so great it gets busy, when we got there, there was one coach, about 12 when we left. So get there early or...More

These wonderful waterfalls attract massive visitor numbers throughout the daylight hours. Paths are well signposted and the information boards are excellent. Go early (before 10.30 am) to avoid the crowds.

Despite visiting on a dull wet day this was an impressive waterfall. Split into two parts there is an impressive amount of water running over the falls creating a wonderful rumbling sound and plenty of splash so take a waterproof. Well worth a visit.

I believe that Gullfoss puts all other waterfalls I have seen to shame. It looks like it is being swallowed up by the earth surrounding it which adds to the mystique. We first parked at the lower level and then simply drove to the top...More

Familly friendly, but bring you rain gear. The scale is of the waterfall is stunning, it is also very crowded at all times, which extracts some fun from the experience. You can see the waterfall from the water level or go up and admire it...More

We liked the waterfall although we did not go down the steps to the lower overlook. The view from the top is impressive. I'm sure that the view from closer would be better, but our tour group did not allow us enough time to get...More

What a beautiful and spectacular waterfall! There’s a relatively easy trail from which you can see increasingly up close views of the falls. Bring sturdy walking shoes as part of the trail is a bit uneven and can be wet from the spray. A must...More
