This is a picture that looks exactly like those I took on a wonderful trip on the Golden circle to Gullfoss. Stunning views that really are just jaw dropping. I recommend going in the month of February!

This was a stop on our Golden Circle Tour and as others note, it is absolutely spectacular. Just as at Niagra Falls, you can feel the power of the water as it vibrates the earth beneath your feet. You can view from two levels: I...More

I've been to Niagara Falls dozens of times, and I still can say that this waterfall is probably more impressive. There are many layers of rock that are part of the waterfall, plus the canyon that the flows have formed. The first time I was...More

We loved these falls! It was cold and VERY windy when we went, and wasn’t a problem as long as you dress for the weather. The hot chocolate at the visitor center is fantastic!

More impressive than I’d imagined. From various vantage points you can get very different views of the falls as they crash down the gorge - spectacular from every angle, particularly down in the “splash zone” where you are almost sure to get wet. This is...More

This waterfall is huge and for those who haven’t ever had the chance to see a large waterfall up close then here is your chance. See how the water has take. Years to cut down through the rock to shape out the path of the...More

This waterfall is really stunning! You can get different views of it and even walk up close but be aware that you may get wet from the mist and the rocks can get slippery but this is a must-see

Gullfoss is one of the largest waterfalls in Iceland (and Europe). Because it is one of the main tourist attractions, there is a well developed trail and outlook area, which also features numerous areas where brave photographers can get a good photo closer to the...More

A must see if you are in the area! I’ve seen many waterfalls and this is up there with the most beautiful I’ve seen. It’s free to park and then just a short, easy walk down to the falls themselves. We were really lucky to...More
