We would have never felt warm in Chivay if not for these thermal baths. For $5 you get access to several large thermal pools. We must have spent 4 or 5 hours altogether here over the 3 days we were in the area. Transport by...More

At the end of a long day on the road and on foot, the HOT pools are very welcoming. The surrounds though need a little TLC. It's one of those places which would have looked lovely when first built, but has had nothing spent on...More

The tour offered us this activity so we said to try it. The location is ok, the conditions are ok but i would recommend to go there only if you have some hours to waste.

We spent no more than 90 minutes here, soaking up the warm water does have a time limit. There are two sections, one for the locals and one for the tourists. The tourist one has changing rooms, showers (you're expected to shower before you enter)...More

Well worth a visit - water 38 degrees, 3 pools one outside. Lockable cabinets for valuables in view whilst in pool - quite safe. Can get collictivo taxi from town.
