I traveled in the month of june when it was a bit hot. Getting to the view point is an ok tarmac road and really nothing special about it. Though the breadth of the waterfall is huge which would be treat to the eyes in monsoon

Thesse falls are on the banks of the Cauvery river. It is also the site of one of the first hydroelectric power stations in Asia. To reach the bottom of the falls, you have to come down several steps, so be sure that you are not carrying heavy luggage.

This falls is around 70 km from Mysore. You can see and enjoy the falls from a long distance. There is a view point from where you can see the falls. You cannot go down and really enjoy the water of the falls. The road leading to falls is enjoyable with greenery. You can spend max one hour watching the... More

Had been to this place on 29th Oct, Saturday with lots of hopes but literally disappointed as there was no water and they were not allowing us inside that this place is closed since 6 months. We went in 2 wheeler and all our efforts went into pain.

It was a trip which almost takes 3 hrs from bangalore useless. The falls were good but administration had stopped the way down to the falls and you can only see from top so it is not worth to go there. Better avoid
