We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A place to take a walk in the evening but it lacks the lustre of a truly elegant harbour. There are some bars and restaurants and not much else.

It's an interesting place an there are lots of nice boats / yachts in their moorings. Nice long promenade on the sea front with a lighthouse nearby. Lined with shops, cafes and restaurants along the way. Not somewhere that you go out of your way to visit, but if you're out in Ostia, Ostia Antica or Fiumicino, it's worth a detour. ...

Families, friends and a McDonalds as well. Seemed to be quite a few empty storefronts but what is there is bars and restaurants. Cool
Fishing store and gelato a few places.

Ostia has been quite a neat little spot to end our vacation.

We stopped and had pizza at a small shop and unfortunately I can’t remember which one. But it was good.

Passegiata is a very important thing for Italians, it's basically a stroll usually taken after lunch where you get to see and be seen. The port is one of the most poplar places for this in Ostia and the place to go for a typical Italian experience. Now if you want to avoid high prices, screaming kids and crowds, you might want to give it a miss.

Went scuba diving from the marina. After 2 dives we came back and some the afternoon relaxing before our early evening dive. Had lunch at restaurant and it was delicious. When we returned from our last dive it was early evening so it started to get busier as shops opened. Beautiful spot.

During our stay we have eaten 4 times in the port. Some very expensive yachts to admire. It's very clean with a few shops and restaurants. You can eat at Mc Donalds very cheaply to more expensive but very nice restaurants right next to the water. It has a nice atmosphere in the evening.

It's a port for private yachts and boats. Along this port, you can find easily restaurants, shops, and cafes. Some of the yachts are rented and you could sailing to small islands nearby (e.g. Ponza Palmarola) with food and gasoline excluded. This port is worth to visit if you stay in Lido di Ostia for awhile. During the night the weather is quite cold and windy while it's hot and sunny on the day.

Very great port but very bad experience with management. The port is quite well maintained but the arrogance and rudeness encountered during registration was unheard of. Not recommended!
