We went mid morning just before it got busy in the car park. Absolutely awesome waves on this beach, you could just sit and watch them for hours. Worth the drive out of the towns, to see nature at its best.
This beach usually doesn't have many people which is great to runaway from all the summer confusion. However the sea is quite dangerous here, having known people who lost their lives on it, so best be careful.

Were on this beach today. While climbing the mountain, you could see the islands of Berlenga. The view from the mountain is excellent. The beach is very suitable for walking, few people, it seems that you are alone.
