This is a great place to go for a gentle bush walk regardless of the weather. Excellent bird life and great condition tracks.

This is a favourite trail of our that is suitable for all ages. The beech forest is outstanding and the river is perfect for dipping the toes.

Great tramping close to Wellington. Book a hut well in advance to enjoy an overnight stay next to the Orongorongo river. Avoid public holidays as the peace and tranquility is overrun by 4x4's and chainsaws.
