A must see place when you are in Dublin and vicinity. You will crawl into a tomb, together with about 20 other people. It is crammed and dark and if you are the least bit claustrophobic better stay away. But once you are in, it...More

This must be one of Ireland's most important historic sites. It is from the prehistoric times. The big problem is that you need to prebook online if you want to go round. The do sell a small number of tickets on the mornings if you...More

Tour gives enough time to walk around and follow the guide into Newgrange. The tour is short because the interior is very small, the outside perimeter is deceiving. Still worth the time and price.

As approached the Newgrange site we could feel the electric charge in the air in this most magical place. It felt like a womb/birth journey going both in and back out of the chamber! Even our teenage girls loved the experience!

Very well organized and well run. Good value for the ticket price. An exhibition, an audio visual presentation, a shuttle bus to the monument and a guided tour there - all for only €7 per adult.

We toured both Newgrange and Knowth (don't skip Knowth, it's amazing). Both our guides were wonderfully knowledgeable. The sites themselves are extraordinary links to a lost past. I am full of awe that prehistoric peoples could build these massive sites tied to astrological events. Incredible....More
