This is our closest country park and a favourite. There's plenty of nice walks through the woods, a good play park and a duck pond. The walled garden includes a bug hotel and wishing well. I do find the cafe overpriced as these places often...More

Great day out, parking is a bit tight but the forest is fab to run wild in. Well worth a trip, maybe take a picnic though a the cafe is a bit pricey. Giant Redwood is cool.

lovely place to just walk gently and take a picnic or enjoy their cafe. Facilities are good, accessible toilet and level paths - sometimes you need to be aware of tree roots etc if you take a slightly cross country route through the trees.
