Another visit to Hochfugen and a wonderful week's skiing that provides excellent facilities for all standards. Good T bar and chair lifts with the appropriate gondolas too so moving up and down is not a problem.

Absolute my favorite all time. Long well prepared slopes every morning. If it has snowed a lot, you may go off-pist nearly everywhere! Not specially crowded, and you can find very good food in Nice sunny positions. The Ski system fits better to skilled skiers than beginners, but there is a big area just for beginners too in the lower... More

If you're not worried about some steepness this will be your place. Spent maybe 100 days altogether in Hochfügen and it rarely disappoints. Lesser crowds, better snow and better preparated slopes. And you won't need to go al the way up by car. Either stay in Stumm or somewhere else in the valley. Then just take the bus/train to hochzillertal... More

Great skiing, although I would say that the area is not for beginners and the baby slope was VERY full.

A good all round ski area with lots of choice for all. Nursery slopes through good intermediates to blacks and a good range of off piste.

This is a hidden gem, difficult to get to but you are rewarded with little crowds and slopes which are not overrun. The off piste skiing is sensational with lots of powder to be had. This resort is connected to Hochzillertal with some of the best mountain restaurants in the world. We enjoyed every day and the snow conditions were... More

Driving from Fugen to Hoch-Fugen takes you 30 to 45 minutes. This is not ideal in comparison to other ski areas; however, the trip to higher grounds results to snow assured slopes. Varriety in difficulty provides a challenging and interesting area.

Travelled in March 14. First time skiers. (aged 39 and 40). We found the lower slope a challenge but do-able and we practiced here for a day. There were 3 areas that we felt comfortable with in our 4 days at this resort and we were kept busy refining our basic skills. we cant wait to go back ( with... More
