We stayed in Punta Del Diablo for 4 nights at the end of August, hired bicycles and rode to Santa Teresa. It is a very flat easy ride along the highway, approximately 4km from the centre of Punta. Admission to the national park is free,...More

This would be a great place for families to visit. There are many places to camp, though, from what we understand, there are not enough toilets to accommodate all the campers. Aside from that, there are lots of green spaces in which to chill, and...More

The perfect balance between nature and turism. Width and long beaches, laberintic forestes, brave ocean, historic place, nice people, home of uruguayan wild fauna and flora. Tell me what else you need?

Very beautiful park, with a great green area, access to the Playa Grande. Place to enjoy the nature and just chill out.

We were disappointed that there were no good hiking trails but the beach was beautiful. There is a zoo and a plant conservatory. Overall not worth the time to get there.

Free to enter, the Playa Grande is the main feature. The fort is also here (30 peso admission). They also have a lookout tower and and interpretative walking trail. Lots to do, and lots of places to just get away and be alone.

We were visiting the Fortaleza fort and our guide asked if we wanted to see the zoo that was in the park. I was doubtful but since we already there we agreed. I was surprised by how many animals they had, but the best part...More
