This was my favorite palace in town. It is extremely beautifull and built with a lot of taste. Gardens must be really beautifull in the summer, but anyways there is no crowd in winter. Interior is built with a lot of gold and represents the...More

What a wonderful experience. The palace buildings, interior décor & exhibits all reflect the opulence & splendor enjoyed by the wealthy & privileged in past times. It has been lovingly restored after the abuses suffered during Nazi occupation. It was also wonderful to see the...More

An amazing palace. It’s a must visit attraction. Baroque style there is over attractive & charming. Highly highly recommended to visit.

I went in winter (Feb), and it was excellent - I am sure in the summer when the garden is in bloom and fountains are running it would be even better. Amber room is awesome (can't take photos in it, FYI).

This is a WONDERFUL palace and a big attraction in St Petersburg. However it is difficult to get to. I don't mind travelling on a train from the centre of St Petersburg but there is no signing at all to the Palace. Nothing at all!...More
