Ciara introduced and explained how the trail was going to work, her friendly personality and helpfulness really made the trip worthwhile. Will be back for lots moreVisited October 2022Travelled with familyWritten 12 January 2023
- DFNorthern Ireland, United Kingdom2 contributionsFantastic family tripReally enjoyed our tour of the caves. Our guide, Jordan, was engaging and knowledgeable. He told us the history of the first cave explorers and took the time to point out all the formations and how they were formed. Lovely coffee shop, visitor centre and gift shop. Only one electric car charger though!Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 15 February 2023
- David MLisburn, United Kingdom21 contributionsGreat day..cafe a rip offGreat day in the caves. Really interesting and mind blowing walk through the caves! Darragh the tour guide was very passionate and knew his stuff. The only gripe I have is Lilly Anne’s, the on-site coffee franchise. Earlier in the week the same brands is in Ulster American folk park = what a rip off. I don’t blame the girls that reheat the food, or serve it, I maybe don’t blame the complex for having them on-site. But…if you’re going to charge a kings ransom, atleast have the decency to supply quality, value for money food! If you go here, forget your mortgage payments for a month or bring a picnic! ShameVisited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 16 February 2023
- EBG8 contributionsGreat personalised experience for all the familyVictor was an amazing tour guide. He made the experience so personal to myself & my two children (aged 11 and 14). He was very friendly and took the Time to chat to us and get to know us. He told us all the stories about each part of the caves and took plenty of photos of us. My son was allowed to set a frog free at the end of our tour. This experience was way better than I had anticipated and I would definitely recommend it to families and couples alike.Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 17 February 2023

- MrsB5511Ballymena, United Kingdom6 contributionsDefinitely worth a visitMy family and I visited the caves during mid term break and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide Darragh was great. He was so enthusiastic and informative about all the different features of the caves and gave everyone lots of chances to ask any questions they may have had. Highly recommend visiting.Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 20 February 2023
- Emma B1 contributionA hidden gem! Not to be missed!Geoff, myself and our 6 month old daughter Matilda where fortunite enough to stumble across this amazing tour through the marble arch caves of northern Ireland, our tour guide, Victor, was absolutely brilliant. As this was unplanned we where a little worried that having our baby with us would be an issue but Victor put us at ease right away, taking the time to take family photos for us, allowed us to take time and care through the cave without feeling rushed and answered our many questions as we became enchanted with all the beautiful, mystical imagery surrounding us. Highly recommended and if your lucky enough to have Victor as your guide.....you have struck gold! Thanks again! When I reemerged, I felt like I had been in a different time and space. The tour guide Gareth was informative, considerate and entertaining.Visited April 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 5 April 2023
- Michelle F8 contributionsGreat morning visitLoved the caves and our guide Maeve was very knowledgeable. It's pretty chilly down there but we were advised of this prior to arrival so we were well wrapped up. A lot of stairs so maybe not suitable for small children. Really interesting tour and would advise anyone visiting the area to check it outVisited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 7 April 2023
- Rihards P1 contributionImpresive sight seeing that I did not expect .Awesome place to see from my perspective as I dont go to places like this alot . Didnt even know that there are such big caves in Ireland and dont regret going to them . The only bad thing might be there is not much time to take photos but otherwise everything was perfect. Tour guide was also realy good , her name was Ciara.Visited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 9 April 2023

Amazing trip to the caves, very cold day I. December but less cold underground! The guide Kieran was fantastic in keeping the right level of safety conscious information and humour, as well as his knowledge, fantastic trip and even though the boats were off today (low water levels) we didn’t feel short changed. Also walked around the kids Elf trail and this was so thoughtfully laid out well done to there organisers. This is a MUST visit destination if you anyway close by. Thanks all.

This was FIRST ever cave visit. WOW! What an amazing experience. The boat ride in particular was really neat at the beginning of the tour and the remainder was equally interesting. Our group of eight adults really enjoyed the adventure. Would highly recommend!

The Marble Arch cave tour was spectacular. The views were otherworldly, and our guide Adam really made the experience even more vivid and compelling, telling us facts about how the caves were formed and first explored. He moved at the perfect pace, allowing us to take pics and fully explore each area.
I highly recommend a visit to Fermanagh. When you do go make sure to add Marble Arch caves to your agenda — the staff are all so friendly and knowledgable.

It was a very entertaining yet educational experience. The cave was beautiful, magical and mesmerizing. I would love to come back again.
Adam our tour guid walked us at our own pace, answered all our questions and told all about the cave formation, exploration history and modern day discoveries of different cave entrances. He was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and very helpful. We loved his tour!

From the west coast of the states and had drivin 2+ hours to get to the caves. Arrived to find out the caves were flooded because of recent storms. However, they said if a guide was around they could show us as much as they could. Insert Victor our guide. He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and pretty much gave us the quick and dirty tour, but it was above and beyond considering the flooding and safety issues. Seeing the caves at flood stage was a rare treat and we really appreciated the staff and Victor accommodating us! Thank you! 5 outta 5!

My travel buddy and I came in a bit late and the caves were actually flooded, so no full tour. However, Victor gave an abbreviated tour of the areas that were accessible. He was an incredibly great tour guide! We learned a lot about the cave, the river and the surrounding mountains. Really interesting! Thanks Victor!!

Hi I am asthmatic (mild) would it be ok to go into the caves .

I am by no means a medical professional but if it’s only mild you should be more than grand to take the tour, make sure to alert your tour guide before entering. The walk itself isn’t that heavy on the body.

Is everything opened here as normal or is it different due to covid restrictions?
Also if you book in advance but have to cancel due to restrictions, can you get a refund or change the date?
Thanks very much.

The only thing that you can't do is go on the river boat trip within the cave system. Everything else is open as normal and yes a full refund is given if restrictions change. I am almost certain the caves are closed until March, we had a great time, the walks are beautiful, one thing I would suggest is leave plenty of time to get there and use sat nav
Hi everyone, is it recommended to book tickets for 3 adults in advance or is there no difference if we do that it in the visitor center?

Hi, I'm going with family soon (including my 10 month old son) and was wondering what the visitor centre is like as I'll be staying out of the caves with him- I'm far too claustrophobic and anxious to even consider going in sadly. I know there's a cafe. Are there places I could wander round with the buggy nearby etc to pass the time while I wait?

The visitors’ centre is warm and welcoming although not that big. There is a good short video about the Geopark which you can sit and watch in a little theatre.
If you need to entertain a young child but want to stay above ground, there are also wonderful walking paths through the Geopark with guidance on the time required for each route.
Can you bring baby in sling?
PJZtravels

Yes, as long as you are fit enough to carry baby for 1.5k plus some steps which climb. There were parents with babies in slings when I was there last week. Not suitable for buggys but no problems with carrying baby. Hope this helps

Is it safe for an 18 month old to visit the caves with his parents

I would contact the caves before you go.
There is a lot of steps. It wouldn't be suitable for a pushchair. also is a bit dark.
I waited until my youngest was 4 before we went. Hope this helps

We will be in Enniskillen for a week over the summer and searching around for things to do. We would love to visit the caves but would it be suitable for an 18month old? Good on his feet and can use reins if required
Thanks
