- Chum C3 contributionsAmazing Cave and Great Tour Guide AdamIt was a very entertaining yet educational experience. The cave was beautiful, magical and mesmerizing. I would love to come back again. Adam our tour guid walked us at our own pace, answered all our questions and told all about the cave formation, exploration history and modern day discoveries of different cave entrances. He was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and very helpful. We loved his tour!Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 3 October 2023
- Colm CNorth Bergen, New Jersey23 contributionsOne of the best cave tours I’ve ever doneThe Marble Arch cave tour was spectacular. The views were otherworldly, and our guide Adam really made the experience even more vivid and compelling, telling us facts about how the caves were formed and first explored. He moved at the perfect pace, allowing us to take pics and fully explore each area. I highly recommend a visit to Fermanagh. When you do go make sure to add Marble Arch caves to your agenda — the staff are all so friendly and knowledgable.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 6 October 2023
- Sandra HThompsonville, Michigan349 contributionsFirst Ever Cave Experience! This was FIRST ever cave visit. WOW! What an amazing experience. The boat ride in particular was really neat at the beginning of the tour and the remainder was equally interesting. Our group of eight adults really enjoyed the adventure. Would highly recommend!Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 1 November 2023
- Darren2 contributionsMust visit centre , world classAmazing trip to the caves, very cold day I. December but less cold underground! The guide Kieran was fantastic in keeping the right level of safety conscious information and humour, as well as his knowledge, fantastic trip and even though the boats were off today (low water levels) we didn’t feel short changed. Also walked around the kids Elf trail and this was so thoughtfully laid out well done to there organisers. This is a MUST visit destination if you anyway close by. Thanks all.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 3 December 2023
- Tom W1 contributionBrilliant tour, Super Interesting and Highly RecommendedAbsolutely brilliant and interesting tour of the caves with the lovely Victor. We arrived, at a rare quiet time in terms of visitors. My fiancee and I received a 'private' tour. Victor is incredibly knowledgeable on the geological history and formation of the caves. He also shared how the caves were gradually discovered by explorers over a couple of hundred years. He was the perfect tour guide. Passionate about the site. Took time to answer questions and shared interesting anecdotes about the naming of rooms and formations in the cave. Highly recommend a visit here. If you're lucky you'll get Victor but given how friendly staff were throughout the site, I'd bet the other guides are great too 😁 Thanks Victor Tom and LorraineVisited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 16 December 2023
- Minty M4 contributionsFantastic - first time visiting and will be back!Fantastic place to visit. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have never been before but was amazed at what I was seeing. Our guide was so knowledgeable and funny, explaining everything we were seeing as we were walking around. She also gave us plenty of time to take photos. We were unable to do the boat trip due to high water, but got a partial refund and will definitely be back to see. Great cafe, gift shop and facilities also!Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 8 January 2024

He grasped our children's attention and was great fun. Lovely lunch then had in their tearooms. Very tasty and a great range. Toilet facilities spotless. Lovely gift shop with a wide variety of gifts.Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten 14 February 2024
- amanda mArmagh, United Kingdom18 contributionsWell worth the visit!!!We had a fantastic tour of the caves. Our guide Jordan was very informative and had a great sense of humour. The formations of the caves were amazing and the visitors centre had a lot about the history of the caves. The shop is well stocked with memorabilia and there is a cafe and toilets. No boat trip which was a bit disappointing!!Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 14 February 2024
- Christopher F1 contributionFascinating experienceWe visited the Marble Arch Caves on 10/02/24. We were informed prior to our arrival that there would be a reduced tour due to the water levels in the cave. However, our tour guide Victor made sure that we made the most of the experience. Victor was very welcoming and provided us with an informative and interactive tour. He was able to answer all of our questions and shared his enthusiasm for the caves. As it was my birthday, Victor made this a trip to remember by helping to take plenty of photos with his happy birthday banner. Following our tour, he signposted us to several other activities nearby and kindly left an envelope for me at reception with leaflets and brochures of things to do. He was a pleasure to speak with and we look forward to visiting the caves again soon in the better weather.Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 14 February 2024

We had a great tour with Majella, who was extremely knowledgable and had brilliant jokes. She is a natural in front of a crowd and really made the shortened tour enjoyable and informative. It was a shame that the cave was flooded so we had to do a shorter route, however it was still good. We will definitely be back when the weather is better to see more of the caves! Well done and thank you Majella!

Stopped off here on the way home from Donegal and was lucky to get the last two places on a cave tour. Extremely helpful and friendly Receptionist - Claire and amazing tour guide-Keely I think?
Free car parking and you can take a picnic as there are tables dotted about. There is s also an on site cafe. You can walk into Cladagh Wood and see the cascades along it’s river walk or view the wild flower meadow. The gift shop on site promotes local artists/goods which are really well priced.
COVID restrictions apply which was good to see but unfortunately this meant to boat trip element of the tour could not operate but this did not detract from these caves and the sheer size and scale of them. The tour groups were small, about 12, which meant you were able to hear and see everything. Tour was entertains and I loved hearing about the streaky bacon, cauliflower and the engaged couple / all will be revealed on the tour which lasted for an hour and the time flew. Great value as £10 per adult and £25 for a family ticket. Will go back again when the boats are able to sail again

Have always wanted to go back to the Marble Arch caves since visiting as a child with a school trip. So I did. The caves themselves were fantastic. Loved it. However I feel there should be an Adult’s only tour option. I love kids and all but the group I was with was was quite annoying due to talk of unicorns and constant crying. An adult group would have been good as we could have some decent adult conversation and and the opportunity to ask sensible questions to the tour guide without being being drowned out by screaming kids.

Fabulous activity, great tour leader Joshua, very knowledgable. The centre set out very well, hand sanitisers throughout, social distancing markers. Masks also mandatory, I loved fact the guide had a face shield which allowed us to hear all (we were at back of the group). The tour was not rushed, lots information, everything explained well & photos allowed. We also used cafe- great prices, lovely staff and seats were socially distanced. Was also informed of local free attractions & walks lovely touch. Grounds, picnic benches, car park, toilets all spotless. I’ll be back again when COVID goes to redo same with the boat ride

We had a fantastic tour lead by Joshua. So knowledgeable and delivered the tour at a nice pace so I could take pictures and take in be surreal surrounds . We listened to the cool stories of discovering the caves and how the caves formed. So much to take in but was explained to us using fun metaphors then made it so interesting!
Would definitely recommend a trip her! Where good footwear! Masks must be worn during tour and hand sanitizer was available.
Overall a very enjoyable tour. Thank you Joshua!

Excellent and enlightening day out with the kids! Have been meaning to go for a lifetime but it took for the ‘next generation’ to get us there. Joshua, our guide, was a lovely young gentleman, both entertaining as well as very informative and made the entire experience fun. We felt safe and excited in equal measure and it was very apparent that he wanted us to enjoy our visit - hats off to him!!
When monosyllabic teenage boys and their wee sister are telling you it was one of the highlights of their summer and really glad they were woken at silly o’ clock on a Sunday morning for the drive to Enniskillen/ Blacklion it says it all!
The caves and surroundings are magic and my text simply cannot do them justice- a real privilege to visit!! I’m embarrassed to admit its taken me so long to actually visit what surely is a must for anyone’s stay on our beautiful island!

We booked to have a tour around Marble Arch caves and we absolutely loved it! Our tour guide Ben was very friendly and knowledgeable and welcomed any questions that we had. The caves were far better than we could have imagined incorporating some of natures finest creations. Our only disappointment was the boat was out of operation but this didn’t distract too much from the rest of the tour.
I would recommend this venue to anyone although accessing it via some very steep steps might be difficult for some people. Well worth a visit!

If you have never visited an underground cave network then this is a fine example. Visited on a wet Saturday so got an authentic experience of water running down the walls of the caves. The tour takes about 1 hour and with reduced numbers on the tours, advanced booking is recommended. Be warned that you climb down steps to enter the cave network but worth it when there. Tour guide Majella did a great job.

Brilliant tour, maeve was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great value for money. For those worried about feeling claustrophobic, please don't. You can walk upright the entire time, ceilings are high and it feels very safe.

The underground cave system was amazing, very well laid out. Quite cold underground so wear something warm. Our tour guide Daniel was very informative and friendly, after the tour he also took time to recommend other walks to go on in the Geopark and other places of interest in Fermanagh.

Hi I am asthmatic (mild) would it be ok to go into the caves .
Written 7 March 2022
I am by no means a medical professional but if it’s only mild you should be more than grand to take the tour, make sure to alert your tour guide before entering. The walk itself isn’t that heavy on the body.

Is everything opened here as normal or is it different due to covid restrictions?
Also if you book in advance but have to cancel due to restrictions, can you get a refund or change the date?
Thanks very much.
Written 16 January 2021
The only thing that you can't do is go on the river boat trip within the cave system. Everything else is open as normal and yes a full refund is given if restrictions change. I am almost certain the caves are closed until March, we had a great time, the walks are beautiful, one thing I would suggest is leave plenty of time to get there and use sat nav

Hi everyone, is it recommended to book tickets for 3 adults in advance or is there no difference if we do that it in the visitor center?
Written 2 April 2019
Anyone recommend a place to stay close by.. 5+ people, possibly a cabin style place with self catering.

Hi, I'm going with family soon (including my 10 month old son) and was wondering what the visitor centre is like as I'll be staying out of the caves with him- I'm far too claustrophobic and anxious to even consider going in sadly. I know there's a cafe. Are there places I could wander round with the buggy nearby etc to pass the time while I wait?
Written 13 August 2017
The visitors’ centre is warm and welcoming although not that big. There is a good short video about the Geopark which you can sit and watch in a little theatre.
If you need to entertain a young child but want to stay above ground, there are also wonderful walking paths through the Geopark with guidance on the time required for each route.

Yes, as long as you are fit enough to carry baby for 1.5k plus some steps which climb. There were parents with babies in slings when I was there last week. Not suitable for buggys but no problems with carrying baby. Hope this helps

Is it safe for an 18 month old to visit the caves with his parents
Written 2 July 2017
I would contact the caves before you go.
There is a lot of steps. It wouldn't be suitable for a pushchair. also is a bit dark.
I waited until my youngest was 4 before we went. Hope this helps

We will be in Enniskillen for a week over the summer and searching around for things to do. We would love to visit the caves but would it be suitable for an 18month old? Good on his feet and can use reins if required
Thanks
