From the car park opposite the fish bar it's a walk through the dune so you need suitable shoes for loose sand. Nice sandy beach not too steep.

Greatstone Beach is a lovely sandy beach which is unusual on this part of the Kent coast. It's a great place for a walk but, if you have a dog, be carefuly because they are not allowed on it at certain times of the year. The beach also has sanddunes which are good for children who want to romp and jump. There's a pay and display car park at the back of the beach with a toilet block. If you have an above normal height vehicle, you will not be able to get into the car park as here is a height barrier.

A lovely quiet beach (went at the end of October), great for dog walking and collecting the shells. Dogs are not allowed during the summer months at some parts.

We stayed at Romney sands great park but the beach opposite it was absolutely beautiful hate saying this as it will make you want to go and it is unspoiled and not busy and this is what is special about the beach. Can’t wait to go again

This is a relatively quiet beach (seemed so when we visited) big tidal range, and you need to be wary of potential quicksand at low tide. Great for collecting shells, quiet sunrises, looking for pebbles with holes, sandcastles and paddling/ swimming at high tide. No sudden drops.
