This market was a pleasant surprise in comparison with Kutaisi overall. You can find everything here and the prices are by far extremely good. People are not chasing you and they are even negotiating if you seem like you're not going to buy from them.

Georgia is blessed with all sorts of fruits and vegetables, and nowhere can you see it better than at the local market. There are vendors selling locally grown walnuts, peaches, melons, watermelons, apples and a wide range of vegetables, meat, honey and even traditional candies...More

A lively and colorful produce market. Farmers sell there vegetables and fruits and it is a great way to experience authentic georgia!

Kutaisi is a very historical and old town, you can feel it in the market. People are very friendly and spices are delicious

Wow! What a riot of colour, smells and noise. I have never seen so much fresh produce on offer... the meat section was a bit nasty and smell there made me feel ill but the rest was amazing... many stall holders invited us to sample...More

Don’t miss this. If your any type of foodie you will love this place. Cherries were in season when we were here never seen so many and different varieties too.

‫i recomend to buy some Chochkela, which are nuts or almonds on a rope, covered with fruit syrops of all kinds. Buy the thin ones, because the thicks are full with flour‬

I think it is open everyday and it opens at 8am every morning and closes around 5.30pm.
